Erwin_Br Posted February 8, 2002 Posted February 8, 2002 I wonder what happened to that car. I think it would raise a lot of money if it were put up for auction. --Erwin
elTee Posted February 8, 2002 Posted February 8, 2002 "Uh-oh land." "They're going up that inlet!" "There's always an inlet"
Schmatz Posted February 11, 2002 Posted February 11, 2002 That picture is totally unique... Look, it's another one of those random threads about random things
Trapezoid Posted February 12, 2002 Posted February 12, 2002 Originally posted by Schmatz That picture is totally unique... Look, it's another one of those random threads about random things We run into those a lot around here, don't we?
Schmatz Posted February 12, 2002 Posted February 12, 2002 Well, I'm not surprised, considering...: 1.) No new LEC non-Star Wars games 2.) We can't really talk about the new IJ game nor the unnamed game 3.) Everything about every other game has been said a million times over (i.e. Sam and Max sound problem) 4.) Outta questions 5.) Outta reasons
QueZTone Posted February 12, 2002 Posted February 12, 2002 let's talk about Golden Axe! i just downed a rom of Golden Axe 2 and defeat it second time playing! I loved it!
elTee Posted February 13, 2002 Posted February 13, 2002 Yeah, lets talk about Goldenaxe. Didn't they make 2 sequels as well? I think by then I had swapped my megadrive for a playstation. I definately missed out of 2 Sonic games, and everything after Super Mario World 1. Thanks to ROMS, I have discovered them all. Ahem, I mean, of course, I delete the ROMS after 10 mins of playtime, so its legal and stuff ... you know, about it being only a demo if you don't play it for too long. Is it? Anyway, whats the weather like?
Benny Posted February 13, 2002 Posted February 13, 2002 Yeah, goldenaxe was brilliant. I still laugh at the ending to the amiga version (I dont remember seeing it in other versions) A kid is playing on the Golden Axe arcade machine and suddenly it explodes and all the "baddies" from the game appear around him >>>Cut to>>>Kid running "forest gump style" down the street with all the baddies after him. Oh and was deathadder known as death=adder on every golden axe port or was it just the amiga version?
elTee Posted February 13, 2002 Posted February 13, 2002 The ending on the Megadrive was just a list of all the baddies with thier names. There were pics too, I think.
ptdc Posted February 13, 2002 Posted February 13, 2002 How did this thread get to golden axe? Lets talk about The great war. Wasn't it great eh? Could'nt have asked for better war. So Great.
Yoha Posted February 13, 2002 Posted February 13, 2002 I had a red '89 Firebird once, in great shape... my brother has it now it's just not fair....
ptdc Posted February 14, 2002 Posted February 14, 2002 Life isn't fair. Nothing is fair! Sometimes I'm amazed at the speed life passes me by. I wonder why all the arseholes go furthest in life and then I realise they must be lighting their own farts.
Darnn Posted February 14, 2002 Author Posted February 14, 2002 I can't quite remember the Arcade ending, just that it was better than the lame PC ending where you don't get past the castle.
Meksilon Posted February 14, 2002 Posted February 14, 2002 Originally posted by Darnn I can't quite remember the Arcade ending, just that it was better than the lame PC ending where you don't get past the castle. Yep, you don't get a spiffy gold axe in the PC version! Now I'm going to have to play that rom, but I warn you the best arcade game ever was: Shinobi! Now go download it's ROM!! (Yes I know it's illegal, but so is downloading the PC version which sucks). =mek=
1.21 Jigawatts? Posted February 16, 2002 Posted February 16, 2002 Go download WWF wrestlefest. By far the greatest Arcade game ever.
elTee Posted February 16, 2002 Posted February 16, 2002 Revenge of Shinobi! That was cool as well. Did anyone ever play Gunstar Heroes on the Mega Drive? It was so brilliant. So was Rolo to the Rescue. And Dizzy... where to begin with that marvelous little egg?
Erwin_Br Posted February 19, 2002 Posted February 19, 2002 Yikes! LucasTones we're not on Times Square here! Your logo looks huuuuuuuuuge! Poor non-broadband users --Erwin
elTee Posted February 19, 2002 Posted February 19, 2002 I was actually going for a kinda Picadilly Circus affair. The thing is, I can't make the logo much smaller 'cos it needs that ratio between the size of the blocks and the space between them. Cos if it gets smaller it all melds into one.
The Adventurer Posted February 19, 2002 Posted February 19, 2002 Go grab a SNES imulator and find Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, and er.. all of them acualy. You never feel better about breaking the law.
Yoha Posted February 19, 2002 Posted February 19, 2002 Upstate New York? I thought I was the only one! (sorry, you may now continue with your regularly scheduled forum posting)
