Actually, its not hard for a 12 yr old to physically build a computer, sure he'd need daddy to put down the $$$, but after that, its simple to build a computer, I am working on building my 3rd computer, 100th overall. I mainly build low-end to medium-end computers with some nice specs though... But, yea, compaq's suck!

Yeah, if you see a Compaq, run away :)

I built my first computer in my early teens, I wasn't twelve years old, but with the proper knowlege a smart twelve year old could easily build himself a nice system, as long as he can get his hands on the componenets. Like Andy said, all he needs is Daddy to put down the coin :)

die all of you!!! :pissed:

I own a compaq, at first it didn't run many of the newer games, then I crammed 256 more ram to the original 64, and now it can run SOFII, JKII, and a few others...and this is WITHOUT a video card. and the computer's a year old. :p I'm going to see how a Geforce 4 mx runs in it as soon as i get a ****ing job. (damn retards won't hire me, next interview i have i'm lying the whole way though i don't give a rats !@#$!!!) not to mention my compaq is a 600 mhz CELERON!! i do, however plan on buying a new computer, I'm not going to trade this one in...could be useful for UT lan games.
