StormHammer
My first PC? It was really, really sad... Amstrad PCW 9512 Incompatible with just about everything on the planet. It didn't even have a hard disk. And of course the 8086 with twin 5.25" floppy drives came out shortly after. I upgraded to a 386...then to a P120...then a P200 MMX...and now I have... Athlon T-Bird 850Mhz ASUS A7A266 MoBo 256Mb SD-RAM Radeon 9700 Pro (which is being held back seriously by the rest of the system) 40Gb Maxtor HDD (7200 RPM) Iiyama Vision Master Pro 450 (excellent 19" NF monitor) 8x40 DVD-ROM 4x4x24 CDR-RW (not BURN proof) Sound Blaster Live 1024 Videologic DigiTheatre Surround speakers (but the little black box has a glitch which effectively disables surround at the moment) Hayes 56K v92 internal PCI modem MS Intellimouse Explorer Any keyboard I can find that works and hasn't been nobbled by my kids. :teeth: I'm in need of some serious upgrades...but I'm holding off until Serial ATA takes off, and there's stable support of AGP 8x. Then I'll start building a M-M-M-Monster PC...

ondrahosek
This is the configuration of my sister's PC: The processor is a floppy-looking thingy The monitor is a black-and-white TV The GFX card is an expired VISA card she stole from my mum The Sound card is another expired VISA card, stolen from my father (both cards stolen ONLY AFTER their expiry) Her mouse looks like a Barbie I think the OS is called something like Mattel Barbie xp® And her printer is - well - she has none... Well, still better than the reality. My sister has NO PC!!! And the PC I'm writing on is not really mine... It's the whole family's... ...
