Cal_da_Darth
Would you run? Imagine this happening to you. ***************** One Sunday morning during service, a 2,000 member congregation was surprised to see two men enter, both covered from head to toe in black and carrying submachine guns. One of the men proclaimed,"Anyone willing to take a bullet for Christ remain where you are." ***************** Immediately, the choir fled, the deacons fled, and most of the congregation fled. Out of the 2,000 there only remained around 20. ***************** The man who had spoken took off his hood, looked at the preacher and said "Okay Pastor, I got rid of all the hypocrites. Now you may begin your service. Have a nice day!" And the two men turned and walked out. ***************** This is too deep not to pass on. ***************** Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says. ***************** Do you find this funny? Or is it scary? ***************** Funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes"in God). ***************** Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' over the internet and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week. ***************** Are you laughing? Are you mocking this very message? ***************** Funny how when you go to share tris message, you will not spread it to many of you acquaintences because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them. ***************** Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me. ***************** Are you thinking? Will you share this with people you care about? Or not? ***************** Let the truth of God never be silenced. Amen.
Rogue15
that is awesome. I don't know what i'd do, but my instincts would tell me to run up to the guy and see if it's a real gun.

Rogue15
I'd probably be too frightened to run to tell you the truth, you know, like in complete shock, thinking it's some kind of dream.

Rogue15
since i rarely ever go to church, i probably wouldn't be there. i've only been to 2 churches i've actually enjoyed going to. last one was cause the youth group was cool and we'd do alot of fun things, the other was @pinecrest, a Bible school in salisbury center, new york where i went to school (they had a small christian school there that i went to) and practically knew everybody. I know this sounds corny and all... but strange things have happened to be before and i always went direct to the ones i love.... i protected my girl a couple of times for certain things.... so in think i would try and save the ones i hold dear. in that case i would be willing to die.... so
Devil Doll
really you don´t know what you will do, you will do what you think in that moment, but you can´t say what will you do, is like when some one say to you: "it´s night, you´re walking to house and you are crossing the street, and now there´s less than a yard between a park and your feet, when a stupid driver appears running like a 90 miles p/hour and it looks like it´s going to you, what will you do?" a lot of people will say " i run to the park", " i jump" things like that, really i don´t think they will do that, they will only be there looking how the car will hit you, unless someone save you. Rogue15
One time a car nearly hit me cause i walked in front of it, and he was turning, the guy didn't even look and he went to go and i quickly jumped backwards before my feet had a chance to get ran over. that was a little scary. Jedi Skywalker
I know what you mean. A few weeks a ago I come one around 20:30 and two cars stopped, in in front of me and one behind me. I din't knew what was happening. It really shook the hell out of me. Another men came and stopped and they drove away. Man I would run like the Emperor was chasing me! Believe me. Cal_da_Darth
Yes Redwing, I did get that from someone through E-Mail. By the way, it does not matter whether or not you believe in God, or whether or not you go to church. You don't necessarily have to think of it like that. Think of it like this: are you willing to stand up for what you believe, even if you're standing alone? I can see to some of you this is all a big joke. Too bad. Kuuki
Of course I'd stand by mine. I bilieve that religon is and has been a complete screw up. you have two religions that say its is bad to kill, but its okay when they do it anyway. holy wars are just complete a waste of time. So to me if that happens in a religion, I vow the I'd never participate in such belief that its okay to kill when it means of senseless defending of ones culture and belief, when it firmly states its wrong. and this is as far as I WANT to go on the subject, cus if to goes any further I'd might give out a quite the sum about of reading why i think its all a bunch of BS. Sweet. Anyway, it was originally meant (the first paragraph) as a joke. I think some people (whoever you're talking about Cal) either don't care about the subject, or had the impression this was a joke from the first post. It is pretty funny. SuicidalXWing
Let's see, what religions are those? Christianity doesn't promote violence. Unless you include pagan introduction which occured during the middle ages. Of course, that was more catholicism, The Crusades themselves were a bunch of people who thought they were doing the way of the church, when true christianity states that it shouldn't be forced on someone. Judaism doesn't promote violence either. As is my understanding with Islam, Suicide is a way to heaven, murder of heathens is yet another way. Treating women like crap is a third way. Need I go on? Buddhism doesn't promote violence. It has to do more with being peaceful with all or somethin' like that. Hinduism also denounces violence, at least to animals and whatnot with the whole reincarnation thing. Voodoo is a violent religion when practiced to inflict harm on others. The whole Loa thing doesn't make sense to me. Atheism isn't technically a religion. More of a philosophy like Confuscianism or whatnot. So, judging from what I can remember, Islam and Voodoo must fit the bill. Some of these are my opinions, if you feel offended by something, I apologize. Kuuki
well i ment the REAL mainstream religions, but i have to admit I'd rather go for either Judisum or Buddhism/Hinduism. hell being jewish I'd rather believe the Jesus christ would come for the first time, rather then the second time, thus meaning the end of the world
