Qui-GONE Jinn
Harry Potter's tragic... I'm too tired to explain, but I definitely didn't like the books, nor the movie. Don't expect to be seeing chamber of secrets. Now TTT is an altogether different matter! opening night tickets!

Sivy
i should be going to see it next week, i really like the harry potter books, just because the target audience is children doesn't mean older people can't enjoy it.
XERXES
LOL who saw the southpark where they were like "were playing harry potter" and they were like... "ahhh hahhhahaha"
Breton
I think media have targeted Harry Potter much more to young children than they should have. The books are not typical children books, and since many children got really afraid after the first movie, you can imagine how it will be like when they see the next three. I really hate those who made Harry Potter into a children book (wich is it not). You can just imagine how LOTR would be like if media made that a children book. XERXES
Tolkein made the hobbit with children in mind as its target audience, same with the lord of the rings, although lord f the rings is a little more advanced than the hobbit. Now i saw a comercial about harry potter...it said something along the lines of..getting kids to read again, or helping kids discover reading. And it showed an owel droping a HP book into the hands of a little black kid who was maybe 10-ish to 12-ish. First of all...i want to know wtf our education system is doing nowa days to make kids not want to read...

BUT! far less was cut then in the first one. this I noticed right off. and some things which would have taken too long/would not work right on film, were included if changed slightly, rather the removed as in the first one. I am almost 100% SURE they have a GIANT box of hacked, but completed parts of the first film, just waiting for a LotR style 8 disk DVD or whatever, and if the 2nd was 161 min EDITED, and was so complete, who knows how much is in archives... rented the DVD, was MUCHO pissed that the few deleted scenes were so damn HIDDEN... why cant these people edit the scenes into the movie, and give us the option, "original, or complete(er) version" but I love it anyways:P
