Surfnshannon
Okay I need a male prospective on what I should get my Fiancee for our 3rd year anniversary. I have a feeling I am going to get my ring on that day (since its the next upcoming special day). So I want my gift to stand out and be special too. Should I get a room somewhere in maybe Vegas? Or get a special gift. With Christmas coming money is tight - and with the baby coming... He already has a ton of cologne from yours truly. I really am stumped at what to get him. I mean the other things I'm getting him for Christmas and they are not really Anniversary Gifts. I like them to be on the romantic and memorable side. Any ideas...???? I wish you guys were much easier!!!

I don't know what's available for you (finance and locations and all) But otherwise a weekend in Miami would be cool (And that's cheaper for you as it is for me) I'd like the night out idea ... Does he like cars, maybe you could rent a [insert cool and expensive car here] for a day and do some touring together.

Surfnshannon
k i will describe him - maybe that will help with ideas... He's 23, works a lot!!! He just graduated. He likesHeiniken Beer and Sam Adams. So for Christmas i got him one of those 3 liter bottles. NE Ways. He wants an F150 but I can't get that for him. He likes to play on the computer and is addicted to the Sims. He plays my video games - but will rarely go out and buy a game for himself. He wants an AMP for christmas. Probably going to get that. So he like music, stereo stuff. Electronics. As far as stuff that he likes to do...hum. We jetski (but its windy and I can't go cuz of the baby), he likes to offroad..but again...pregnant. Can't take him to an amusement park or anything because of my limitations! I'm trying to think of something romantic. Basically here's what I've done for him so you can kinda think of what ideas I'm looking for. I took him to these hot tubs where you can go for an hour and it over looks a lake. For graduation I got him one of those Ride Alongs in a Nascar. I gave him a surprise BDay party at Hooters for his 21st. He has given me the bahamas and florida. Though we never went to miami (young david). So...hum...thinking......
Crazy_dog no.3
He took u to the Bahamas?! *frantically runs to book holiday* He works a lot? Maybe book a room in some hotel (make sure it's a good one though. U don't want my experience in Paris some while ago) ...
Young David
He likes Heineken? Well then take him on a vocation to the Netherlands Because Heineken is dutch beer. Biertje? BTW, glad you made it
Surfnshannon
ya he's a heiniken freak! That beer is not the cheapest either - but hey we all have our vices. What does Biertje mean?? I'm glad I made it too its been a year...the post troll almost stole my way to victory but rhett gave me back my missing to make today possible!! Young David
That's why should come to the Netherlands, I think it's fairly cheap here ... not that I really know ... I don't drink beer. 'Biertje?' Is Heineken's ad slogan. 'Bier' is beer and 'biertje' is a smaller beer. 'Biertje?' Means as much as 'Wanna have a beer?'.
Pad
heiniken zou ik geen bier noeme its actually weird but i never expect anything fancy from my gf. i dont want any expensive gift either. most of the times she gives me something she made herself. she is very good at drawing and other creative things. or some chocolate eggs with a toy inside r always good and im also happy with the neckless she gave that didnt cost that much. yep, small thing do it for me. Sherack Nhar
If I was in his shoes I wouldn't want anything special. I mean, he already has you and the baby; what more could he want? The night out seems to be the most appropriate present.
Guest Jed
You know, another thing you could do is try to do that romantic dinner at home. But, that's only if you can do that (you're pregnant, right?). Well, if he's going along the ring theme...did ya think of getting him a really nice watch? I know some guys are into watches...maybe get it inscribed or something. Hope that helps, and best of luck to ya.
jediduo
I don't have any specific ideas, but definately do something that you won't be able to do when the baby comes. Having kids changes everything, so take advantage of being alone together. Do something that you won't be able to do for a very long time. Am I vague enough? Surfnshannon
OKAY - Here is my idea...let me know what you guys think There is this thing they do - right off of the beach. You go on a Light Parade on the water in boats and all the boats are decorated like floats of lights. Its like a two hour thing and you cruise around the beach looking at over 150 boats lit up for Christmas. Do you think that's romantic?? He likes christmas lights..and I thought it would be romantic to go out together on a cruise to look at all the holiday lights. He'd never guess it - unless he reads this foruM! Its inexpensive too. Only like $16 dollars per person. I went with my parents when I was little. I think it be great because its something that we probably won't be able to do again (until the baby is older) and its unique. Think its good?? I have to put in the reservation this weekend! Ratmjedi
Very romantic. I know that if my girlfriend got me that I would be like and then awwwwwwww. That is very romantic in my opinion. I know I am not engaged like you two are but it is a good idea. He'd be crazy if he didn't love it. The only thing your missing is Champgne but since you are pregnant I suggest something without alcohol, like Martinelli's Apple Cider. It's the next best thing next to Champgne. Tyrion
Oh yeah,do that. And have cider. And let him win at once at games...

Artoo
Well I was really rooting for the hand-made macaroni picture, but I think that there cruise would be a mighty-fine, especially if he be liken dem der Christmas Lights. I'm tragically hick.
xwing guy
Yes Artoo you are tragically hick, just like I'm tragically Texan. That seems to be the best idea STTCT, very romantic. And as far as rings go for yalls engagement and all, get him a ring, but just not any ring, the One Ring.
