Aerothorn Posted January 29, 2003 Posted January 29, 2003 Notion is right. Well, sorta. He wouldn't get the detonator off in time but if he did theyd be screwed. Except for jedi good in telekineses- they could manipulate the inner workings of the detonator to dearm it.
Darth Zaius Posted January 29, 2003 Posted January 29, 2003 the most intimidating weapon in Star Wars is... a Herring!!! but really to me it would be the Death Star
Aerothorn Posted January 29, 2003 Posted January 29, 2003 I think its.... THE POWER OF THE DAHKKKK SIDE! (Emphasize the DAHKKKK)
Uber_Saber Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 You have to say it right, too. It's not "Dark" side, it's "Dahk" side.
Kylilin Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 The Sun Crusher is by far the most effective and scary weapon/ship the Star Wars Universe has ever seen. The Death Star may be able to destroy a planet, but the Sun Crusher can destroy a planetary system. But... The snap-hiss of a lightsaber is enough to weaken the knees of anyone who oppose it.
Jedi Apprentice Posted February 9, 2003 Posted February 9, 2003 Facing any weapon in the SW universe would be pretty intimidating in all reality. The thought of a vibroblade kinda gets to me though.... It's been a long time since I've been on here..........
Darth Eggplant Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 Jar Jar Binks with a Law Degree in Gungan civil rights
MdKnightR Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 :dsaber:In face to face combat, the doublebladed saber In the way of heavy artillery, the Death Star In force powers, Choke as utilized by Darth Vader.
Sabretooth Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Vader's choke, my coke, A Death Star and the... *cough**cough*Yuuzha*cough*n Vo*cough*ng Weaponry*cough*
Bastila Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 A double Bladed lightsaber it can deflect balsters and cut up anything!
jedi3112 Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Mine would be a StarForge copying Death Stars. Without thermal exhaust ports, and also without a flying path leading right into the main reactor. Unless it's a flying path with a few tubes added right in the middle for those pesky fighters to crash on, while they can't evade them or blow them up (suprise, suprise). Also you can sell them for a lot. [starts shouting] Death Stars, get your Death Stars here, nice big Death Stars for sale [/ends shouting, due to customer arrival]
ForceFightWMe12 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Definatly a double-bladed, red saberstaff. Man, you see one of those flashing in your face and automatically you'd be like "oh sh-"
Hallucination Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I'd have to say the glory of the tenloss disrupter, cuz its not lightsaber reflectable.
PoM Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 lightsaber........people who recognize the weapon in the SW universe know that the person who weilds it is an incredible fighter and very skilled in this mystical religion know as the force. Except for General Grievous:p the lightsaberit can slash u in half A normal sword can slash you in half (If really sharp...I think.) Anyway, my answer is lightsaber because of the following reasons: It's glowing. They come in many different flavours. They can cut through just about everything. The user can do leet pwn m0ves! And much, much more. Coming soon to a store near you.
DarthSion101 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 The most important weapon in the series, is Emperor Palpatine's Force lightning from ROTJ......That used to scare the crap outta me as a little kid.
lukeskywalker1 Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Ummm, you guys realise this thread is from 2003! I had only been a member for like... 3 months, lol. the lightsaber it can slash u in half, which is pretty cool. What a n00b.
The_Maker Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Not to be an asshole or anything but this is the second 2 year old thread the Mdk has revived... isn't that against forum rules or something? <.< *Goes to check* Humph, I don't see much a difference between "bumping" and "revivng", its basically the same thing with the exception that the post might actually have some meaning -_- Bah.
lukeskywalker1 Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Dude, I don't even remember posting here... but I did.. I was like "Whatt???!" when I saw my name... with no Sig. Then realised it was from 2003.
MdKnightR Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Not to be an asshole or anything but this is the second 2 year old thread the Mdk has revived... isn't that against forum rules or something? <.< *Goes to check* Humph, I don't see much a difference between "bumping" and "revivng", its basically the same thing with the exception that the post might actually have some meaning -_- Bah. I think that the main difference between "bumping" and "reviving" is this....Bumping is when someone (perhaps the person who started the thread) makes an irrelevant comment in an old thread for the express purpose of moving it to the top. Reviving is when someone finds an interesting thread and has something relevant to say about the topic without the intention of moving it to the top. I think it is better to revive than to post a new thread on the same topic...which I notice happens a lot and then it gets closed by a moderator and linked to an old thread anyway. BTW, this is like the 3rd or 4th old thread that I revived recently.
RedHawke Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 ^^^^ Exactly MdK, while I usually hate reviving old threads, there is a time for it because not everybody has been here since the BC to AD switchover. So instead of making an identical new thread it is appropriate to bump an old thread about a topic one wishes to continue discussion about, it exposes newer members this way. Not to be an eplitive deleted or anything but this is the second 2 year old thread the Mdk has revived... isn't that against forum rules or something? <.< "When your walking on eggs... don't hop!" The_Maker, while I appreciate your zeal to follow the rules, perhaps you should try to follow them yourself as well, and keep your colorful use of language (Read: Profanity) to yourself! Let's keep this forum family freindly The_Maker... ok?
REDJOHNNYMIKE Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Canon: An insulted and embarassed Bastila Shan backed up by Mira, nuff said REU(really extended universe): My DREADNAUGHT Burito, 8 X-large tortillas, 2 family size cans of beans (the key ingredient), 1 large bag of cheese, 4 plump tender x-large chicken breasts, Add one primer cord....
