Finally, another Hufflepuff :)

Hufflepuff is one of the Hogwarts school houses. I might as well give you the whole story. About 1000 years ago (the certain date is unknown) the four greatest sorcerers of the time, Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin, founded the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And each of them would pick out the ones they favoured to their school houses. Gryffindor favoured the bravest, the nerve and daring. Hufflepuff prefered those just and loyal, and unafraid of toil. Ravenclaw favoured those of wit and learning, and Slytherin loved those of great ambition (the power-hungry, you might say). But since they would not be able to pick the students after they have died, they enchanted a sorting hat to sort the students into their houses.

Now, there's not anything wrong with Hufflepuffs in general, but they got a reputation of being a bunch of duffers. I quote Draco Malfoy: "Well, no one really knows until they get there, do they, but I know I'll be in Slytherin, all our family have been - imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?"
