Rogue15
I'm back into gaming full force, after maybe a little break here and there cause of work and me trying to get a life, it has occured to me that nobody really cares, and I really don't give a **** what people think, and I was happier when I was in 'gamer mode'. I beat Mech Assault last month, got a little bored so.... I bought Half-Life, my first internet order, and am trying to get used to counterstrike and day of defeat. I beat Halo today. *pause for applause* I had to restart Final Fantasy VII because I glitched Weapon to death by saving the moment before he attacked, that was after 59 hours of playing...and this week I've played through about 1/4 the way to where I was, have about 10-13 hours logged in, and am doing much better. Once I teach Sephiroth and Weapon that they really shouldn't **** with me, I'm going to step in Solid Snake's shoes and beat Metal Gear Solid. Then I'm going to point my crosshairs in Half-Life's direction, and beat the single player portion of that. I plan on SP when I have off of work, or in the morning/afternoon hours, and MPing between 5 and 12 at night. After that's all done, I might pick JED back up off the floor, dust it off, and make one or two multiplayer levels and get the mp gaming running again! What games has anybody here played or beat within the last month, and explain what's great about that game and the stuff you like about it. edlib
Been stuck on the prison escape level of Bounty Hunter for a couple of weeks now. I've used codes to open up a few of the later levels so I can see what I'm in for, and as a break from perfoming all the same moves over and over again. I've made it almost to the end, but was killed and had to restart from the last checkpoint and never made it all the way back. I was getting so frustrated I had to give it up for a week. My hand starts to cramp up after playing the level more than twice on a row. I don't want to give myself tendonitis. But I DO want to get past this stupid level! Watta pain in the arse! Rogue Nine
For about the past week I've been hooked on the Resident Evil remake for GameCube. The game itself is stunning. The character models are excellent, the environments are sickeningly realistic and Jill looks so good, she makes me want to take her home, lock her in my basement and do bad things to her. Can't say the same for Chris, but his character model ain't too shabby either. I've beaten the game twice with Jill and unlocked both her secret costumes (Army Commando and her outfit from RE3). I'm hell in a tube top and skirt. Rawr. Right now I'm working on getting the Samurai Edge and maybe the Rocket Launcher. Once I accomplish one or both of these, I'm going to whale on the game with Chris. As compared the original RE, the voice acting has been much, much improved. Jill's new voice is sultry and absolutely yummy (I've heard her say "Barry!" in every tone of voice short of trying to come on to him). Though I miss the horrendous voice acting in the original since it was so funny, I'll take this. I've gone through Vice City to the point where I own nearly everything. All I have to do is find all those damn elusive secret packages and get me my Apache. In FFX I've slowly and methodically made each of my characters into tanks unto themselves. Rikku is my strongest character, with all the skills, abilities, black and white magic acquirable. Her sphere grid is maxed out. It's sick. My aeons...I wonder what'll happen when I finally face them in the last battle. It's that bad. This should keep me occupied until FFX-2 comes out in August. In CS, I've been doing well, sticking to the nice Iceworld map and racking up nice +40 kill to death ratios. Occasionally I'll play an assault map or the classic de_dust. Taos
Well, I have been playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I've gone pretty far into the game, then I had to start getting ready to move......and now I just sold my xbox to my brother. But I do have a new pc to fall back on. I just gotta move now..... :S 15, when I get things running, how about some MOTS?
Rogue15
yeah!! We really need to get a good 4 player game going, maybe even a team deathmatch! Hopefully S1 gets his cd drive fixed soon, then we'll have enough players! =]

When I was playing Turok Evolution, the one level, inside the beast i think is what it was called, well that level was huge and there was enemies all over the place, and it takes at LEAST 20 minutes to beat it, and I remember playing through that once and I died and tried playing it again, and was able to beat it cause I figured out what I had to do, and finally beat it, by that time my hands were so sore and they threw me into a couple flight levels, I think I quit playing that day. Cmdr. Cracken
you shouldn't quit your job, because you need more money for the new games for said game system, and new game system for when current game system=out-dated piece of crap. I'm waiting for the Zone of the Enders:The Second Runner, and been wasting time with C&C Generals.
Rogue15
quitting the job is optional. =p i bought my xbox w/my first paycheck, and haven't been disappointed. =] I'm not going to quit my job unless something better comes along. Rogue15
geez this thread really went well, straight to hell. I got some more games.... Morrowind. Best game ever. Buy it if you can especially if you have alot of time, enjoy the ability to do whatever you want to do in games, and like medieval stuff. I'm buying xbox live and the clone wars next week, so I'm really looking foreward to April 22. I played wolfenstein demo on xbox it was OK, the graphics are a bit on the dark side. Played alot of Red Faction 2 multiplayer, that was pretty fun, though I really would have liked more blowupable stuff, me and S1 demolished the warlord level... The next pc game that I'm going to buy is Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, a friend at work keeps bugging me to get it and I've been wanting to play a good strategy game, so why not? I'm constructing a prison level for mysteries of the sith, which is going to be the best multiplayer level I've made since 'Ikhnaton'.
swphreak
I'm working on beating all the CnC: Generals Campaigns. Still trying to beat the Prison escape level for Bounty Hunter. I'm getting close. Beat Star Fox Adventures. It's an ok game. But I wished they'd put in some more flying missions, but I guess they wanted to focus on the ground. Beat TTT for Gamecube. A prety good all around game. Beat Clone Wars for Gamecube. My friend got lucky on one level that helped me a lot and he's still bragginh about even though I beat the game and he can't kill the boss on the last level.... I rented Hunter: The Rechoning for Gamecube. I think it's a fun game. It has the Gauntlet Legends "feel." You're a Hunter and you kill Zombies, Vampires, and other evil things. 4 player. Me and my friend stayed up all night playing it. We were like at the 2nd or 3rd level til the last level, and my friend found the bazooka. And when he got it, a huge monster apeared. So, he decides to shoot the bazooka at the monster. But instead, he hits ME, and it explodes and kills everything in a small radius..... we were screwed from that moment on...... and I made him promise no mopre Bazooka for him. So tonite we're gonna start over...... wow..... did I type all that?

Deac
I'm currently working my way through FF7 and Morrowind, both for PC. Morrowind is way better for PC, as you can get extra plugins and the add-ons. [i beat Dagoth Ur at Lvl 16! (standard difficulty) Anyone done it lower than that!]

Rogue15
that avatar awesome, is it mara jade? My character in Morrowind, Kioet Csuhen is at level 8, with a bounty of 1040 on his head, wears orcish armor, has high points in longsword, kicks ass with claymore, is learning bow and arrow. I love how you can go anywhere you want to in the game, and do ANYTHING that you want. I stayed up til 2:30 this morning playing it. ^_^

No. How ever I'm surprised that you made Rikku your strongest I always end up with Yuna as the strongest Her ultimate weapon combined with holy (Ie break damage limit) along with Lulu's neck of the woods completed for yuna, i get 45k-50k a blast ^_^ With the aeons, I never touch them, they are weak i tell you! expect for Anima... but who cares, they didnt stand a chance ^_^
