Jeff Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Awesome! I haven't been in IRC for a while recently, I'll have to get back into it. And maybe now more people will come to #starwarsknights
milo Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 Awesome! I haven't been in IRC for a while recently, I'll have to get back into it. And maybe now more people will come to #starwarsknights I'll come! I can't believe I never looked in this sticky. I was on earlier--The Doctor, jmac, and I had a wonderfully engaging conversation (which I had to cut short unexpectedly-sorry jmac). Anyway, if anyone ever wants to chat, I'll be in there.

Thou hast forsaken me.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 Cool. I'll be sure to come and check it out once I get mIRC back.
The Doctor Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 I can't believe I didn't know about this earlier...
Mav Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 forgive me, but what is this? some sort of IM program like AOL and stuff?
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 forgive me, but what is this? some sort of IM program like AOL and stuff? Yeah, it's basically a chatroom that uses a different (slightly better) protocol.

HerbieZ Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I honestly think there should be a teamspeak server. There we all can be abit more oral.
Prime Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I suppose we could always schedule something. That might kick things off again. If people know there would be others there, more people might join in the future.
tk102 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Is there anyone here who would object to replacing the clunky mIRC chat client with a simple Javascript client? You wouldn't have to download any 3rd party software to use it... just browse to the webpage and start chatting (shoutbox style).

Samnmax221 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Bah! Just use XChat. Theres a Windows port, theres a Mac port, theres all manners of Unix-like packages.

Samnmax221 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 nah , this works just fine But this can connect to multiple servers, and has tab! TABS! Tabs, may I unoficially add, are great for trolling.

Rogue Nine Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 For those of you that don't want to have to deal with an IRC client, there is a Java-based webapp from which you can access our channel. http://www.gamesurge.net/chat/starwarsknights Have at it and don't be shy. :3
tk102 Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Is there anyone here who would object to replacing the clunky mIRC chat client with a simple Javascript client? You wouldn't have to download any 3rd party software to use it... just browse to the webpage and start chatting (shoutbox style). Starwarsknights.com has opened an AJAX chatbox for the public. You can get to it be clicking the Chat link on starwarsknights.com or by clicking here.
Pho3nix Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Weird that you guys use Gamesurge as the "main" IRCserver #echonet, #lucasforums #starwarsknights are all on Gamesurge. QuakeNet is alot bigger and you could probably attract more people to join there.
