Jake
What's everyone doing instead with their time that was previously eaten up by obsessively reloading the Mojo network sites? And, yes, I'm implying that it's okay to admit that you obsessively reload the Mojo sites all day. I am, of course, speaking directly to Metallus, but this can go for the rest of you too if you want. Oystein
Well, I started playing Fallout 2 again yesterday. Hopefully I'll manage to play through it this time. Also, now I'm reloading IMDb even more than I used to.
Benny
I'm spending my time obsessively reloading the forums, making crappy utilities that I give up on half-way through and playing worms with Gabez, Huz, Scabb and Mort. Help Me
scabb
heh. If anybody wants to come and face my almighty worms who spout Sam & Max quotes every other second (as well as other, inferior teams of worms), then drop by #monkey-island on GamesNET. I got the new Radiohead album through the post yesterday, so I'm listening to that right now. Other than that, I've been watching Alan Partridge, pulling down the ceiling below our bathroom and being hit by random pieces of fungi and bars of soap that have been under the bath for years (somehow¬), playing through Pikmin, and downloading lots of non-copyrighted media. Who needs to leave the house ¬
Alien426
I'm reloading the temporary Mixnmojo page every 5 seconds to see if another funny picture appears. Guybrush's burning ass after he shot himself on Monkey Island yesterday, LeChuck's exploding fortress ["THE SERVER"] and flying Guybrush ["US"] today. I should be doing much other stuff (like updating my site), but I find myself playing GTA Vice City every free minute I'm home. scabb
If you're incredibly bored, you should also check the WorldofMI temporary page, and the more exciting Scumm Bar temporary page. MI Legend has one too! With an excellent slogan. I know how I'm spending the rest of my morning afternoon.
Kingzjester
I've been programming a poll script for the Church of Tim. It is odd how when I sit down to do something major on the site, the server keels over. So far so good... I just need a php-friendly server to test the thing... sigh. This going to be an annual thing with you, Mojo? Every summer, you toss your bones into the drink, and wait for someone to fish 'em out?
Nilrem
Hey, I would like to help, whoever the owner is of Mojo, get in touch with me, I could probably secure you a T1 host for free. Or is that too inadequate?

Jake
Mojo's got new hosting, we're just waiting for our files to be sent through the mail to ZeroXcape so he can re-upload whatever's left of the site. Also, sadly I've been spending most of my non-Mojo time just going to work and school I should be spending it collecting the rest of the Triforce pieces in Wind Waker. Nilrem
Oh ok Jake, well if you ever need mirrors or backup hosting or what not, feel free to ask me, I've got a couple of servers lying around from different people/companies who owe me favours. Alien426
Well, I used a program called FoxServ to install the localhost. It automatically configured Apache, PHP and MySQL. I heard about another program which does that, but can't remember the name. There should also be tutorials. SitePoint is generally a good site to start searching. Creepy, when I was looking for FoxServ some time ago its site said that it was discontinued, now it seems lively. The $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] does run on localhost (although I never use this long version, only the register_globals version $PHP_SELF, which is of course not as secure... Huz
Sorry to break up this gripping PHP discussion and drag the thread back on-topic. ¬ I've been replaying Full Throttle, completing Wing Commander: Unknown Enemy (best!) and playing the aforementioned Worms against the aforementioned people. I'll get around to playing Sam and Max soon. Mwah.
tabacco
Heh... well Jake, if you need something to do with your non-Mojo time I'm probably going to be watching "History of the World Part I" in JBE156 at 7:30 tonight, since I've got to work a stupid final. Hey thanks! As for me using the 'secure' option - the rest of the code is a cabbage of nastiness, so I use a couple of well-thought-out flourishes to bring the superficial quality up a bit... t-hee, t-hee, t-hee.... Kingzjester
Hey Alien, it don't work! Some of the scripts that worked just fine on Mojo won't work on my computer. I have no clue what the problem is. Maybe I need to fine-tune something in the emulator program that I failed to?
Ztev
I've had to resort to actually going to lucasarts.com to get news, which I haven't been to in years since the last big mojo down time. It was all big and scary and I didn't understand it; I need the bite sized news posts of mojo that I can make silly comments in.

Gabez
I’ve generally just been slobbing around, waiting for something cool to happen. Oh, and also playing a bit of Worms.
Haggis
I'm just doing nothing, going to work (basically the same thing), and er... playing Zelda: Wind Waker (I'm in the Tower of the Gods at the moment...), and doing stuff for MIAC (yeah, that sucky irrelevant site of mine).
