Hey hey, don't think I haven't tried with Photoshop u nog XP.

It's just that Photoshop is meant for digital editting of pictures, it wasn't meant for THIS kind of thing. Trust me, you try doing the sort of thing I do with paint on Photoshop. Yes it can create a straight line and yes the pencil feature can create a one pixel dot. But Paint has the dots, the circles and the line tools. They say the simplest way to do things is always the best.

eh...just saw this and thought I'd put up a few images i created with ray-tracing. I used POV-Ray which I learned a few weeks ago at summer school. These are all stuff which i did about a week after I started using it. These are done by me and I have the source codes on my hd.

Sometimes i get errors when trying to view them, just keep trying and they should eventually show up.

This is one of the first things I made, just some random objects and shiny stuff

The next three were part of my final project where I basically created an imaginary floating city. These are all different views of it.

This is from inside the city looking at the sun. you can get a nice look at the central cone and monorail system (yes the silvery blob is supposed to be a monorail car...heh...). The sun isn't done to horribly well but...oh well.

This is another view of part of the city where you can see one of the four cone/spire things and the ocean.

This one is a night view and shows the entire city at night. The star background isn't done that well but it looks alright. Also, there is no physical reason why the large white halo is there, it just is.

hope you like them.

I've really enjoyed experimenting with Photoshop Elements lately ( this sig isnt one of those experiments :D, thanks Coupe!). I LOVE making sigs and drawing with PS but im not that good yet. I have, like, 30 tutorials on my computer and i am completing all of them and learning as i go :D

I spend alot of time at the http://www.BluesBurn.com forums and website, they are REALLY helpful.

Zdk1, your pictures won't show up for me for some strange reason o.O; Hmm...

I used to do real artwork (as in, pen and paper art) when I was studying the subject at school. Though since I joined the interneting community, I've experimented with lots of different methods of creating images in Photoshop. I usually do a lot of GFX art with character art from different anime and such. Here's one of my latest abstract pieces, made entirely from scratch:
