Lord Blackadder Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 I have a question... What does the average swamp dweller do? I'm an administrator with too much time on my hands myself (and an evident sick sense of humour apparently). Is there a large student base on here? Or are there a lot of workers?

Boba Rhett Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 I'm sitting around waiting for college to start. Either that or I'm going to roam the countryside deflowering young maidens for a reasonable price. I haven't decided yet.
Vestril Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Originally posted by Darth Groovy I'm a full time employee, and a full time student. My major is Web Design and Administration. How can you be a full time student and employee AND moderate these forums?? A full time employee works 40 hours per week, a full time student should be in class for at least 16 (and that really is a minimum for full time) hours per week, and the teachers I've had suggest that you should spend at least 3 hours studying out of class per hour in class, which would add an additional 48 hours per week. I would say that with such a demanding schedule, you would have to get 6 hours of sleep a night, but you could be a light or heavy sleeper, so I'll say between 4 and 8 hours per night which would be 28-56 hours per week of sleep.... lets be neat and assume that you spend 1 hour per day preparing/eating meals and a further 1 hour per day travelling to various places, this is a further 14 hours per week. Ok, so now I'll do a quick tally... 40 + 16 + 14 + 48 + 28/56 = 146/174 So you have somewhere between 22 and -6 hours of free time per week! Poor guy... (I was REALLY bored...) --edit-- I'm sitting around waiting for college to start. Either that or I'm going to roam the countryside deflowering young maidens for a reasonable price. I haven't decided yet. You make me want to cry
