Halo only appeared to be an amazing game because it was being compared to all the rest of the ****ty Xbox games... I mean, yeah, Halo is fun. It's even better on the computer, but it's not phenominal, I don't think... Or maybe I'm just bitter because my computer is too crappy to run the game -_-

Except for Xbox games aren't crappy. Uhm, Halo is just "normal" to me. Its not a second coming or anything. It's just a FPS with good graphics and fun Multiplayer.

And to be honest, i doubt Half Life 2 will work on my computer either, but if it does then that'll be great since Half Life 2 will own Halo

It ran just fine on my 3-year old Pentium 3 at 1280X1024 with EVERYTHING totally maxxed out with no overclocking. I'll probably get it once the price drops a bit. Good,.. but not worth the full-price they are currently asking for it.

It tried out the MP as well..and, well, it seemed to have some 'issues'. Like, er...lag effects, without the lag. If you know what I mean. The Slayer mode is also completely unbalanced due to the presence of vehicles and some extremely powerful weapons. Like...step through doorway and get drilled in a micro-second by the buggy-mounted chaingun... Or instant kills because a vehicle (mostly the flying vehicles) just brushes against you. People were using them like hover-mowers. I found MP to be more frustrating than fun. Halo is not on my priority gaming list. I might get it if it (ever) reduces in price.

Sam Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 I have the game on pc and Xbox.The only thing I dont like is how the pistol is the best weapon in MP. What are other good xbox games? I cant think of any more that are not on the other consoles.

The sound bug is really annoying, the mouse responds badly (too fast or too slow, with or without mouse accell on) like with all bad ports... Red Faction II was another perfect example of this The graphics look very ****ty, sorry to say but I prefer the Half-Life engine... I'm playing Alien VS Predator 2 right now and it looks waaaaay better than Halo!~ For me, this game gets a 2/10 rating. Yeah 2 because well... They say the original is fun...
