Surfnshannon
My dog was stolen or escaped yesterday. he just was groomed and our fence is low enough where someone could have reached in, but not low to where he could have jumped out. He might have, but it's unlikely. I've searched everywhere and I just can't stop thinking about him out there in the cold. I'm so worried. I'm so frustrated that I can't find him. While looking for him I saw another dog get hit by a car and now I just can't stop thinking about him. We made a hole in the fence so that he could come in our yard if he decides to come home, but he is a nice and loveable dog and he's a white pomeranian. I honestly think someone grabbed him. My christmas is ruined . I just want him home for christmas that's all I want! :(
IG-64
dang, that sucks. Did you put up signs?
Crazy_dog no.3
Well u could : 1) Put up signs as IG-64 said. 2) Contact the police. It may not work, but it's certainly worth a try. 3) Wait for him to come back (it could work) 4) Carry on searching for him (as u were)
Boba Rhett
Sorry to hear that, Shan. Hopefully this will all work out. Have you contacted the pound yet?
Rogue15
your best bet is to call the police, tell them what the dog looks like, and tell them to keep an eye out. cause there's a chance that if he did get out, that someone didn't want the dog freezing his arse off, took him inside, and called the cops. I hope you get him back, I know how much it sucks when a dog escapes. (my yellow lab is like an escape artist...escaping every few months when i least feel like chasing him down)

Surfnshannon
Right now its 5am - I can't sleep. I have been waiting for him all night and day. We went out searching for him around the apartments. I live in a very busy city. He isn't the type of dog anyone wouldn't take in. I'm afraid someone stole him. I looked at the shelter closest to us and he wasn't there. I called animal control and they said any dog picked up wouldn't be at the shelter until tomorrow (today). I have school today at 7 and I can't go. I have my finals, so my husbands going to go and I might ask my dad if he would while I'm in school. My family and I searched everywhere. I can't believe it. I'm so sad right now!! I made a million posters tonight so that I can post them everwhere. I'm going to call the police today - maybe they can help but I doubt it. they usually will say to deal with animal patrol. God this is AWFUL. I wish he was under my bed! That's where he sleeps. I miss him something awful. He has been with me through some rough times. I lived out on my own for awhile and my husband (then boyfriend) got him for me from the shelter because I was so alone. He's been with me through thick and thin and I love him so much. I'll post some pictures in his memory. Keep him and his safe return in your prayers! Pie™
a couple of years ago i lived in US for a year... the dog we had been keeping for our neighbors (they lived in the US for 1/2 a year) the 6 months before we moved died... Then, just some months later the dog of someone really close to us died... i don't know if any of that made sense, but it sucked... I'm sorry for you, and i hope you find your dog
ZBomber
I, don think anyone took your dog.If you really really think they did, contact the police. If you contact the police, and they search for it, the person who stole it might get scared, and bring it back. Not trying to be rude, but is your dog smart? If so, if he ran away, he will find his way home. Good luck.
Sam Fisher
When I was living out of town, my dog had run away for a week or so, but came back:) Good thing she's smart. Sorry about your loss, I hope you find him.

BongoBob
Man, that is one cute dog. I'm sorry to hear about this. My dog gets out about once every 2 years. I hated it. One time he got out and went to my friends house. Right as he called, we left to go search for him. We searched for a good 20 minutes and could'nt find him. I was devastated. And then when I had my mom stop at my friends house to have him help us search the neighborhood, there he was. This is also the same dog that swallowed a paddle ball's rubber ball, and it got stuck in his stomach, requiring operation that set us back around 5-10 thous. My mom was just gonna have him put down, but somehow, my crying managed to get her to see it my way. I know how it feels to lose or even to think you've lost a dog. Also, the other week My mom opened the door to let the dog out, and my cat was there at the door. She never has gone out without my moms cat with her. So we're searching for my moms cat for a good 30 minutes, and she was nowhere to be found. As I am returning from searching the neighborhood on bike, I go up the stairs to meet my mom sobbing(i was too), my little brother stands at the door and says,"I found Kitty Kat!" We both turned around and there she was eating. We were calling around the house and she was probably like, "I can see you, you should be able to see me! I am soooo sorry girl, and I know how it feels (cute baby too )
DarkLord60
Sorry to hear about your dog but you'd be suprised of the chances of getting your dog back. If it ran away chances are it will come home. BTW Cute dog and kid.
Writer
Wow! that is one cute dog! I hope you can find him soon... BTW my family knows the feeling as well. A few years ago, my sister's rabbit, a clever escape artist, opened her cage and hopped away. We set out a trap for her and she got caught. She escaped a second time and got caught again. The third time she hopped off, we never saw her again. hope you find your dog again soon.
Acrylic
Awww. What a cute dog. Wow. Pomeranian(sp?) right? I'd feel so sad if my dogs ran away or were stolen. I just wouldnt be able to live with it. See, just about a few weeks ago, my dog Koko had a seizure. She got so stiff and her eyes were wide open, and she couldnt open her mouth. Through desperation my mom and I started cold water on her, and she started to loosen up a bit, and afterwards she was fine. We were very scared, and I'm betting this must be close to what you're feeling. It would be a very sad occasion to lose a dog. Anyways, I REALLY HOPE YOU GET YOUR DOG BACK!!!!!! Best of luck. -Acrylic

No, man, Thats not appropriate at this point. Her dog is gone and shes sad, so please, dont say things like that. Its really sensative, because I have two dogs, and it hurts me too that you said that.
Neverhoodian
I have a friend whose dog ran away during a thunderstorm one night. He had recently moved, so I guess his dog figured to go back to the old home. Unfortunately, he's never seen her again. I'm so sorry that this had to happen to you. IG-64
I wouldn't read this if I was really sensitive: It's better to have your dog run away than to have to actually see it die
