rick ulo 11103 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 i feel like screaming thats the second game i finished today. i just finished jedi acadamey (Xbox). someone tell me why they make games so short!!
Boba Rhett Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 I'll go out on a limb here and say it's because so they can crank out more and sell people like us more games.
_PerfectAgent_ Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 1. What Rhett said. 2. Lazyness? 3. They want you to play the game several times over... However, even though you "finish" some games, they seem to make you play over and over again...
Reaper Girl Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Did you run thru it? Not all games are finished when the last boss breaths his last... ...secret levels, COLLECT THE GEMS!
wassup Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Jedi Academy short? Just wait until you play Call of Duty. It's short, but boy is it sweet.
Crow_Nest Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 jk2 was also short. Anywho, you can but the PC (its like 10x better ) version, its much better and you can download new MP/SP maps when you get bored!
BawBag™ Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Remember that JA has 2 possible endings, 2 paths, multiple sabers, different character aesthetics. Plenty to keep you going.
Alegis Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 you'll find it ok when you play the SP 3 thimes like me Originally posted by Orca Wail Did you run thru it? Not all games are finished when the last boss breaths his last... ...secret levels, COLLECT THE GEMS! Oh yes, so many games where you can get extra bonuses if you collect all the cents..Mostly just impossible, i remember trying to do this on the gameboy advan,ce for sonic and spyro..Just in the end you realise its impossible
ExcelsioN Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 If it's a long, saber wielding, and overall great game you want, get KOTOR. Not JA. JA didn't impress me even slightly. Not all short games are bad though. Call of Duty is amazingly short and amazingly good at the same time.
Astrotoy7 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Yes, give KOTOR a try, if you already havent. About 20 mins into KOTOR JA became an ugly memory to me....... MTFBWYA
Jedi Luke Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 JA is a huge disappointment compared to Kotor.
Zappa_0 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 KOTOR and JA are two different games. I dont know why you wanna compare them! Yes KOTOR was a great game, had a good story. Umm JA, I felt it was better then JO, which its story was kinda bad. They should go look at JK:DF 2 and see why everybody likes the story. I really feel like JO didn't really meet JK's story standards. But JA, I think did an ok job. It will never meet up to JK's storyline.

rick ulo 11103 Posted February 7, 2004 Author Posted February 7, 2004 i played and beat kotor in eeveery posible way (i liked turning him into a twilek:D)
Jedi_Vogel Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 Due to severe time constraints for gaming, JKJO has taken me a year to get to Doomsgiver Detention and JA is about half way through. I rekcon if you find some games short you need to find some other stuff to fill your life with. It saves you money that way if you buy a computer game at an average of one every 6 months to a year
Surfnshannon Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 ya - you find as real life gets in the way games get longer....
Sivy Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 Originally posted by STTCT ya - you find as real life gets in the way games get longer.... very true. i only get to play games for a couple of hours a day, if that. so games take me awhile to complete.
