Sabretooth
I think the subject explains it all. I was introduced when I first played the demo version of Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.
IG-64
I was introduced to starwars in 1996, my parents dropped me off at a showing of A New Hope SE, they were realeasing them a week apart, by the time A New Hope was over I couldn't wait 'till the next episode to come out ^^ btw, wasn't there a thread of this already? Sabretooth
Not sure... If there was it is probably not in The Swamp or it is like a five pages back and I think it is against the rules to 'ressurect' topics.
Wanderer
I was introduced to star wars 1977 when the first movie (episode IV) came out...I was 6 at that time. CapNColostomy
In the late 70's-early 80's you couldn't enter a department stores toy dept. without seeing Star Wars wall to wall. I had a ton of figures before I ever got to watch one of the movies.

txa1265
As I said in the other thread ... I was 11 in 1977, and Star Wars was one of the first movies I got to stand in line with my friends without my parents ... changed my movie life forever ... Sivy
in 1982, when i was 3, my dad bought home our first VCR and a few videos, star wars ANH, raiders of the lost ark and superman... so those films i pretty much grew up with. by the time i saw ROTJ i was old enough to really appreciate star wars and i've been watching them religiously ever since
edlib
I saw it the first week it came out in '77. I was 6.
Astrotoy7
yeah, I've said this elsewhere too .... but for me I was 5, it was 1980, and it was on TV. Astro knew very little English then, so it was the spaceships and the droids that captivated me. I did think Vader was scary, but knew he wasnt a robot because you can see his eyes through the visor ! MTFBWYA !
toms
About 1983 or so when all the SW films started getting their big TV premieres at christmas. Then I got the videos. Then Tie-fighter, and soon after that Dark Forces.

Neverhoodian
My parents introduced me to Star Wars. They rented the original ANH back in 1992. I saw the other two OT movies shortly thereafter. I've been a Star Wars fan ever since.

Darklighter
I've been a Star Wars fanatic for a long while, due to my family being very interested in it. I first heard of it when I was about 5, when I saw ANH for the first time (in the early 90s). Since then, me and my brothers have loved the films, and have collected loads of SW stuff; toys, action figures, posters, books, lotsa stuff. The early SNES Star Wars games I still have, and they're the best video games ever. Forget Rogue Squadron and Jedi Knight, Super Return of the Jedi beats 'em all XD

toms
I'm obviously playing them wrong, as i can never get anywhere. Super Empire Strikes Back seems insane, with enemies respawning as soon as you kill them. Actually, you have reminded me of one of my earliest star wars memories though: playing that vector star wars arcade game which had a sit in cabinet. the one where you fought through waves of ties and then did the trench run. (The one they gave away with Rebel Strike). I loved that game. Originally posted by sabretooth I was introduced when I first played the demo version of Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. And you still care about starwars? That must be the worst Star Wars game ever (and there are some real stinkers). I remember instaling that demo, playing it for about 10 minutes before getting really annoyed and deleting it forever.

(this is regarding the Ep1 game) I played it all the way through - and I agree with you. Boy ... I think that I was desparate between the ObiWan PC cancellation and waiting for JKII ... all the way through I played it. My neck hurt when I saw the original post ... and everytime I think of the perspective of the game. I have no problem with isometric RPG's, but that game just bugged me out ...
