Post-a-holics?

Ummm just a quick question, why do some of you people post about every little thing that happens to you, or every thing you see, or anyhting thats even remotely funny?

so many of you are post-a-holics, and no offense but talk to someone about this stuff, or get a closer friends, and not online ones. I mean its nice to have a group of friends from around the world but Best friends who you have never met and only know by what they say or what their avatar is, is pretty sad.:p

I think it's great that our community is close enough with each other that they feel comfortable enough to post about their life. It's fun. I have friends in real life but some of my best friends are online. I don't see why there is anything wrong with that. You seem to directly associate, "closeness" to someone with actually being able to touch the person. Even if I was sitting in the same room with most of these guys, I doubt I'd be touching them much. Ok well maybe you leXX but that's just to get my pants back. :p

Because of the internet I've been able to meet people with such similar interests to mine that I could never have hoped to met them in person so, no offense, but talk to someone about these problems you have with actually being able to touch people. :rhett:

i feel a group hug coming on :D

yeah its good that we can share.

the fact is we've all got something in common, and that star wars. i haven't got many friends that are as into star wars as me. so its nice to have somewhere to go to talk about it and everything concerning it, like games etc.

its a close community, if people want to talk about their lives or other stuff, than that’s cool. some people might find it easier talking about personal stuff here than talking to their 'real' friends.

take for insistence this rash i've got that i want advice on...

just kidding :D

I'm Keralys, and I only post about 6 times every day I'm not, so I'm a sort of okay post-a-holic...

No, this can be either a good or a bad thing. When you start replacing physical interaction with the Internet entirely, it can be a bad thing. It's not bad to be on here and feel that you can appreciate what the people here have to offer - even when you disagree with them.

Serious discussion? Me? Rare occasions, maybe. ;)

Yea, a lot of my closest friends are online, even though I've never met them. They most about me and my life, and visa-versa.

Internet rules.

Unless you have a virus or something.

Then it doesn't rule.

Unless you get an anti-virus program.

Unless you get an anti-virus program that doesn't work.

Bah, I'm rambling.

Oh no... Not this again...

Uh. Have you thought ever that most of us don't have lives so we don't have friends.

Life leads to family,

Family leads to friends,

Friends lead to hate,

Hate leads to computers,

Computers lead to LF,

LF, leads to nerdness,

Nerdness leads to no life,

No life leads to boredom,

Boredom leads to closeness on LF,

Closeness on LF leads to whiners,

Whiners lead to hate,

Hate leads to major suffering

P.S. you had me going until I imagined Obi13 as a non prison guard...

I'll tell you something Mamba. Some of my best friends are on the Internet, and I feel closer to them than anybody else, except maybe my family. And that's saying something. ;)

Am I a post-a-holic? No! I'm not one! I only post... Err... 10 times a day! I mean 20! I mean... 300 times! Thats little enough, eh? I know I'm weird....

If I wasn't bored at work - I probably wouldn't post as much. But I love having contact with the outside world because working Night Shift can get pretty lonely :(

And the other reason is because I want to get 10000000000000 posts by the time I die.

I may or may not be joking. :ewok:
