Nerd_Annhilator Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 HAH! I spend around 56 hours a week on the computer. I think I qualify. : P and the last time I saw jurassic park was when I was 6.
MennoniteHobbit Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 Umm.... ~86-90 words a minute... I can read my own handwriting, I know Dvorak and QWERTY... and most of everything on Siv's list... so, does knowing a lot about computers refer to being a nerd? If it does, I'm proud to be a nerd! Except for the fact that my mom hates nerds...
Batdroid Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 I had to take the third choice,I spend a lot of time on them. But do not know much aboutm them.
Sam Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 No. And it seems I am the only person who voted no. pfft nerds.

Reborn Outcast Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 Originally posted by Astrotoy7 chatting I don't think that chatting makes you a nerd. It's just a way to communicate with your friends when you can't during school. But when you spend as much time as I do online, then yes, I am a nerd.
whitedragon Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 Im no computer geek im a gamer/stoner/pimp/party animal. well mabey not the third one but i do alright. the only thing i know how to do on the computer is install a game. oh well have a purple hooter shooter on me.
rccar328 Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 Don't use a big word where a diminutive one will suffice. lol (which I have NOT used in normal conversation, just for the record!!!)

Here is a one question test to see if you are a programmer: A car in Silicone Valley was seen with the following vanity licence plate. If you can quickly figure out the manufacturer and type of car, then you are a programmer. The plate read, "FEATURE" PM me answers and I'll let you know.
Master_Keralys Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 I'm a nerd but not a geek really. I'm not the tech support guy, but I know my way around better than almost anyone at school except the actual programmer people... meh, no big deal. The handwriting thing nearly did it, but my writing's legible - it just takes me twice as long to write anything by hand.
IG-64 Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 I am on the computer far, far... far too much. In fact, I need to do school right now, why am I on the computer?
Crow_Nest Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 Nopes i aint. Just because i included my PC and i like computers doesnt mean im a computer geek.
