The geyser that done it must have completed Half-Life more times than I care to guess. He knows where every creature is, every turn, tons of shortcuts, and it's just amazing to watch. He must have played the game so many times he could complete it in his sleep - and it must have taken a while to figure out all those shortcuts and exploits. If nothing else, it also proves quite conclusively how very linear the game is - and highlights some of the drawbacks of scripted events.
