Darth Rythe
I found this on another forum. Review Post what you think.
Boba Rhett
I give this review a four. Actually more like a 1-2. For the graphics section, because of the limitations of the PS2 they can't really increase the quality of them so you have to keep in mind what the system is capable of doing, so comparing it to metroid prime is not a good thing to do. MP didn't have to display nearly as much onscreen as GTA had to and was also working with a more a more powerful system. To me the review came off as criticizing the game for being what it is; what it was made to do. You're playing the scum of the earth and the game is making you as close to actually being that scum as possible and you seem to dis it for doing its job. A 2 for the story being redundant? ALL game stories are redundant. It's the continuation of the same game series. It kind of has to be about the relatively same things. You just need to steer clear of the gamefaqs reviews. Most of the people on those boards scare me.
Darth Rythe
He said that it has more cursing in it. As far as I know it has less, but i've got the pansy aus version I give his review a 3...cause i don't like him >.> <.<

Darth Rythe
yeah well, apparently it is too mature (or whatever) for little kids to play. Well, WTF are little kids playing a game like this in the first place for? If you where the biggest gangstar in a city I don't think your going to be one of the nicest people so it adds to the game. Poggle
The guy seems to dislike the game for what it is begging the question why buy it ... idiot You just need to steer clear of the gamefaqs reviews. txa1265
Originally posted by Darth Rythe Well, WTF are little kids playing a game like this in the first place for? I have wondered that many a time ... Anyway, if you check Gamerankings, the game has a very high score, and the lowest is 70%, with 98/99 scores 80% and higher. Not my kind of game ... and I don't have a console, but it is supposed to be a great game - who cares what the haters think? I play a bunch of M games ... do you think I let my kids even *see* them, let alone play them? Yeah, sure, at 6 and 7 they'd have lots of fun watching me play Postal 2 and pi$$ on someone ... but enough potty talk Mike
Crow_Nest
Weird, from what i've heard vice city is the best GTA game ever. Actullay i agree with the game's poor graphics, they should improve it.
Astrotoy7
I never got as much as buzz out of the gta games as other people seem to have.... and vice city gave me too many Miami Vice flashbacks,,,,,, *gets goosebumps thinkin of don johson in his white suite and blue t shirt* mtfbwya
Prime
I've only played GTA a little bit at parties. But in those cases no one actually plays the game. They just run around beating people up and stealing their cares. Or sleeping with prostitutes and killing them afterwards. Whichever.

Darth Homer
I have the GTA3/Vice City 2-pack for xbox & both games are very fun. I like the ability in Vice City to jump on bikes and get tires blow out, etc. Very cool.

Datheus
Originally posted by Boba Rhett That's why I want to play it! Rhett. I beg for your hand in marriage. As far as the review goes... Nothing he said was incorrect, really. Perhaps with the exception of how he addressed the graphics (he's obviously a bit misinformed) and the missions. I think that Vice City is one of the most dynamic games I've played... At one end of the spectrum there is Diablo. At the other end, there is Vice City. Beyond that, it's really just his opinion. And I can see where he's coming from. Though, I freaking loved Vice City.

Was I the only person disappointed that Don Johnsons Heartbeat song wasn't in the playlist?
