BongoBob Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 And yes, I already know of Castle Wolfenstein:ET But I am going over to my cousins house tomarrow and am gonna download a whole bunch of stuff on her cable net connection. So I was wondering if anyone has any good freeware games, preferably FPS, or RTS. If not, I'll still check them out.

MennoniteHobbit Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Do you like good arcade games? Like Galaga and stuff? Try out MAME. It emulates games written, for use in Windows. I have it myself and it's pretty good. Find MAME at http://www.mame.net. (multiple arcade machine emulator) I'll find some more free games for ya.
BongoBob Posted June 22, 2004 Author Posted June 22, 2004 >.> <.< You can get tribes and tribes 2 for free? linky? I've heard of mame before, and I couldn't get it to work before, but I'll try again. Any others?

Make sure you download the binary of MAME, not the source. The binaries are for Windows last time I checked, so if you download that, you can install it and it will work fine. MAME has Dungeons and Dragons, and that's an excellent game to play on MAME.
BongoBob Posted June 22, 2004 Author Posted June 22, 2004 So far I will download Tribes 1 and 2, GTA 1 and 2(maybe), Wolfenstein: ET and updates for it. I also found another one I'll download called CodeRED. I just need to find the link...
Datheus Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 I've heard good things about PristonTale, though I've never played it myself. It's a MMORPG.

Neverhoodian Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Get The Battle of Yavin and The Battle of Endor. Both are superb Star Wars flight sims that feel like a cross between X-Wing and Rogue Squadron. They're definitely worth checking out.
Nerd_Annhilator Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 http://www.sodaplay.com Its really awesome. I get by the teachers at school every day playing it, claiming its educational.
