To hear you people tell it, America wasn't even involved in WWII. *cough*pre1941*cough* im not denying americas role was important, but to hear Americans tell it, Britain was on the brink of collapse to Nazi's and was only saved by the the US army sweeping in and destroying those bad old Germans, when in fact the US was a full year late if they wanted to have an impact on the battle which defeated the German effort to invade (Battle of Britain was the summer of 1940).
