Who makes Fan art?

I do.

 

Although unofficial, just a hobby to entertain myself, and others. I tend to write comical stories about the male exile... So far, I only made one story (more on the way ). So if anyone is interested in making fan art, pop by at the Unofficial KOTOR Fan Media Site . You won't regret it.

You know, you can also post your story here If enough people are interested in fan art, perhaps we could setup a fanart forum where people can post their kotor inspired stories/drawings, etc...

I don't draw sw but i draw fantasy things like dragons,great kings and great wars.Dragonslayers,....I even draw Excalibur and King Arthur..

True, but there are some real gems between all the rubbish, who make them worth loolking once and a while. I am becoming a real fan of "The children" which is a lot better than most fics I ever read. But I agree that there is a lot of BS too.

 

But why not post, quality could only improve, no?

There could be General (for whatever) / Star Wars (general Star Wars) / Gaming ( game related) / SW Gaming (Kotor,JA, ect). People could post their art and stories far all to see. Could be fun.

 

I don't draw, but I write well enough. That dosen't exactly translate to writing a story, but if we had a section for it, I would try to come up with something.

Palpatine_dc, I doubt the quality can improve. I recall a fan fic about Bastila and Revan being lovers in their late teens, and that the reason Revan fell to the Dark Side was because Bastila broke up with him.

Okay, it may be a good theme, but that several-page fan fic is far worse than your several-sentance post.

I haven't done any type of fanart in years. That is how I started though. A friend of mine suggested that I take this really large sheet of posterboard that had been laying around the house and start copying band logos onto it. Well, I took him a little too seriously and did a 4 foot version of the black cover of Stryper's "To Hell With The Devil" album. That was when I learned I had any kind of talent. For a couple of years, all I would do was copy albums or illustrate scenes from my AD&D campaigns. This was all before I got into an art class. It is a great way to get into art, but I don't think it is good to continue doing it when you get serious about being an artist. The only exception would be if you had an assignment to do something like that.

actually, the only things i can draw are the y wing from top view and the Republic Commando Visor. not the helmet. only the t shaped visor.

but im an excellent writer, i already have a few written, ill post them in the coruscant entertainment thingy soon.
