I love the Prequels, they're just so good, i never noticed the vast amount of CG used (because it's so good), we all know the Originals could use some ROTS style CG explosions and lightsaber effects.

I also like the Prequels for the story, the Jedi Order, the films just have such an epic feel to them. I do admit though, there is an awful lot of talking in the Prequels, but at least there aren't any brothers and sisters making out in them, lol.

Don't get me wrong I loved the Originals as a kid, they got me into Star Wars, I watched them again the other day and with the exception of ANH the duels and space battles aren't bad at all even when compared with Obi-wan vs. Darth Maul and the battle above Coruscant.

I never thought that any of the acting in the movies was bad, never, Anakin in the garage on Tatooine was totally believable, Obi-Wan "You were my brother Anakin!" was amazing acting as was Anakin being an angry Sith.

The only real acting I can remember from the Originals was Han and Leia, Luke and anger in ROTJ, and Luke getting some bad news in ESB. All of it was just fine.

I voted Prequels, evening everything out for now.

I don't have a preference. They both are different sides of Star Wars, and are both fun to watch. Since the prequals have been released I've probably watched them more, but that's just because I need to catch them up with the OT, which I watched all the time before the prequals.

I vote OT. No grand reason. I just enjoy them a bit more.

About the acting, Star Wars has never been know for good acting. Its mostly because Lucas just isn't a great director of actors. Even some really good actors come off as bad actors in the movies. *cough* Sam Jackson*cough* (yea, I said it :xp: )

Thankfully, R2D2 hit his lines perfectly. He's a great actor. I wonder what else he is in...

I'm sorry, but the OT had nowhere near as much bad acting as the prequals. Niether Christanson or Portman could act their was out of a wet paper bag (even at their "best"), Samuel L. Jackson insulted himself in AOTC, as did Christopher Lee and Ewan McGreggor.

The OT didn't have any bad acting as far as I could see.
