RpTheHotrod
Ever re-install a very old game, just for old time's sake? I decided to reinstall this old game of mine (Dungeon Keeper 2). Was playing and playing...been so long. However, I ended up playing till late night. The moment my clock hit 3am, I suddenly heard this deep and loud voice say and text this: Lol, gotta love those little hidden gems!
Pie™
DK 2 is one of the most entertaining games I've ever played. I recently reinstalled Rune to kick some demon ass, and Carnivores 2 to hunt some dinosaurs. Nostalgia just makes a game so much better.
Sabretooth
I've recently been re-playing Monkey Island 1 & 2. Both extremely fun and hilarious games. I have quite some memories with those old DOS and primitive-3D games. Must try more!
TiE23
I just happened to re-install one of my most favorite games ever. Mechwarriors 4: Vengence Oh how I missed you so Mechwarrior 4.

MrWally
Today I played a 4 or 5 hour long tournament of Heroes of might and Magic 3. Which is in my opinion, quite possibly the greatest game of all time. Anyone else play it?
narfblat
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is awesome. My sister is addicted to the map editor. She hardly plays the game anymore, since she is too busy goofing around. I also have the 4th Heroes game, but it focused too much on the heroes. Some of the creatures looked dumb, too. I've heard that there is a 5th one out, and it seems cool.
MrWally
The fifth one is out, I was a member of the beta, and while I played it was slightly buggy, but from what I've heard those were all fixed in the final release. The game is supposed to be everything Heroes 3 was famous for, only better, and they threw out the concepts in Heroes 4 that flopped. However, I've heard that the campaign is unbelievably difficult, and only for the hardcore fans (like myself). Have you ever tried playing the "In The Wake of Gods" mod for Heroes 3, Narfblat? MrWally
Commander Keen was really good, I would play it at my cousin's house ALL the time. OH! AND STARGUNNER! Best arcade style sidescrolling spaceship shooter ever.

Anyone else play it? I loved all of the Heroes of Might and Magic games. Well, up to number three anyway. I never got four, but I hear it's not great. Five does sound good though. Black Knight of Keno
Syndicate. The Best Game Ever. I've been recently been playing it for hours and hours and hours until I got hooked on RTCW: Enemy Territory in my stupidity. after that I've hardly played syndicate, which reminds me I should get back to it... But before that, some quality rounds of Goldrush and Fueldump!
Mike Windu
haha Tepe, I been playing ET again too.. I play Starcraft a lot Recently borrowed my friend's N64 and been playing Road Rash and SSB.
MrWally
RTCW: ET was pretty fun, but I never really got into it, I should probably go back and check that out again. And also MilojMiles, I've also heard that Heroes IV severely sucks, and is definately not worth playing, unless your one of those Hardcore fans that can't live without owning all the games in the series. I was ECSTATIC when I found the Heroes 3 Complete Platinum Edition set at CompUSA. It was at least a good year after 3DO went out of business, yet it was sitting there on the shelf, The original Heroes, Heroes 2 Gold (meaning original and expansion), and Heroes 3 Complete (the original Restoration of Erathia, along with both expansions)... All for Thirty Five Dollars. Believe me, I didn't even think twice before buying it. Probably the best 35 bucks I've ever spent on a game.
Joetheeskimo
Today I played a 4 or 5 hour long tournament of Heroes of might and Magic 3. Which is in my opinion, quite possibly the greatest game of all time. Anyone else play it? I do. Mine has never collected dust. Simply a classic. I recently had a craving for Yoda Stories (a Desktop Adventure by Lucasarts) but got an error message. Turns out it doesn't work on XP, and since I switched from 98 long ago, I can say goodbye to Yoda Stories... I also often play the pretty old game C&C: Tiberian Sun. Black Knight of Keno
Windu, what's your name on ET? Hope you haven't pwned me too much if we've ever met. You can usually find me playing Fueldump-only servers with the nickname Hawkeye [FIN] HoMM3 rocks. 4 rocks too, but I really miss the period when the hero is just basically a spellbook with increasing experience points and skills. However, in the end the caravan system of 4 makes recruiting in impossible situtions easier. Especially in situations when you can't move from the Town/Keep/Castle because you're waiting for the enemy that's a turn away from you and need reinforcments. For what I've read, the fifth will be a mix of 3 and 4, so I think it'll be quite good in the end. Also, I must add that C&C Red Alert and C&C Tiberian Sun are amongst my very favourite games of all times with an old Amiga game called North and South. anyone remember that? It was awsome... One of the first few games I played on Amiga with Syndicate, MegaLoMania, Indy Heat(I think that's it's name. Can't really remember anymore) and Paperboy

Glad to hear that about Heroes 5. Does it include a map/campaign editor? I didn't use any mods for Heroes 3, but I had the Armageddon's Blade expansion. When the disks got scratched, I bought Heroes 3 complete.
MrWally
Glad to hear that about Heroes 5. Does it include a map/campaign editor? Unfortunately it did NOT ship with a map editor, and it apparantly also came with only a handful of maps to play (though I heard it was enough to last a pretty long time). However I just checked out the Wiki site on HOMM 5 and it says that lack of a map editor and random map generator (although both have been promised to appear in future updates along with additional maps). So it looks like that problem will be remedied pretty soon. The site can be found here

Tyrion
The site can be found here Oh shiiiiiiiiit. Now I remember Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia, since I found it in the wiki link. Man, that was a sickass game. I loved getting the Titans and just owning the Hell out of everyone around me. Also, I liked the shiny gem-mines on the map.
MrWally
When I mentioned the In the Wake of Gods mod earlier, I guess I didn't really give it the right "title" per se. It is considered more of a "fan made expansion," and often called Heroes 3 1/2. It infinately adds to gameplay, and they are constantly updating it and changing it. WoG adds something new called ERM (Event Related Model) scripting. It allows the map maker to change the function of virtually anything in the Heroes World (which is a function not included in the map editor), and from here spawned a gigantic fanbase that created countless maps and campaigns. Father Torque
Full Throtle Yep, just re-installed FT on my new laptop. It was good. Cept I can't get the sound to work, it won't recognize my soundcard. Also uploaded The Oregon Trail and The Yukon Trail, both good games. I like seeing if its possible to survive only off candy, whisky and butter. Don't get too far though... :/
