Davinq
Since a thread of the sort has not been made for a long time, I deem the time is right to make another one Which of these 8 sports is your absolute favorite? I play both soccer and rugby and enjoy both equally. dntab Edit: Sorry if I missed a few sports, I was trying to be thorough...

The Doctor
... What is a 'sport', and where can I get one? I hate plying sports. Mainly because I suck. But I love watching Football - the real Football, not the screwed up North American version.

MachineCult
Baseball for me, Real Manly American Football a very close second, because that _is_ the Real Football, not soccer. Go Bears! American Football is only the "real Football" in America. Being British I should prefer "Soccer" by default, but I like Rugby better. Now thats a real game. Mav
I enjoy watching Football more than Baseball, but I enjoy playing both equally, so I guess I voted Football as per tiebreak. I don't see how some of those crazy Euros worship soccer and would give their brother's left testicle to David Beckham should the need arise. I'm sorry but how can watching soccer be fun? It is like watching 22 people playing pong... I can't watch someone play pong. I can see people watching Rugby, because that is an awesome sport, I've played it and it gets nuts, but soccer, I mean come one, soccer players are the only people I know that are worse actors than Paris Hilton. A guy slides on the ground and 20 feet away another guy falls to the ground complaining hit got tackled... lame

Take a real footballer (soccer player) like Steven Gerrard. Its all about passion with him, id give my left testicle for him. He plays for Liverpool FC. Oh and its not just borin ping pong. Take the 2005 European Cup Final when Liverpool, the underdogs went down 3 - 0 at half time agains AC Milan. They scored 3 in the second half and won on penalties, i cried that night :crybaby. Soccer is one of the, if not the biggest sport in the world. 1.8 billion people tuned in to the opening game of the world cup 2006.

Ooooo...Kaaaaay:xp: Hey Jae, hows about you find this soccer fan a nice hotel room and maybe a cold shower:lol: Always have loved football. Basketball's good too. Rugby sounds cool, but I never got into it. No boxing? You listed cricket, but not boxing? What about bowling? I'm probably the only person I've ever met who doesn't bowl. Lacrosse? Not into it, but I think it's getting more popular. Volleyball? Many others, you need a bigger list.

Mav
No boxing? You listed cricket, but not boxing? Boxing has to be the dumbest sport invented, what kind of idiot would "play" a sport where you do nothing but make yourself dumber...

CountVerilucus
I am American, so I have to like Football (manly American Football, not soccer). Infact, I even play football for my school! Do not really like to watch it though, just gets boring. Football is the sh*t
stingerhs
American Football pwnz. its downright interesting to watch and one of the coolest sports to play outside of lacrosse. as far as sports that are good to watch in person (ie, at the stadium), nothing can match up to a classic game of baseball. if you sit behind home plate, you get to see the majority of the action up close. in every other sport (except for cricket), you'll miss parts of the action no matter where you sit. that, and its a fun sport to watch while you're downing that bratwurst special with mustard and lots of 'kraut. otherwise, i love watching hockey. its similar to lacrosse, but the fights are much better. Ooooo...Kaaaaay:xp: Hey Jae, hows about you find this soccer fan a nice hotel room and maybe a cold shower:lol: I'll just refer him to a urologist instead. He's too far gone for the shower. He is nuts enough for a room in the Hotel, however. This is one of those areas where women are far more intelligent. You'll never catch any of us saying "Gee, I'd give my left fallopian tube for Brian Urlacher." Or any other sports star, for that matter, though Urlacher is a Bear of Bears.
