Seriously though, she's only a decent actress. Then again, it's not like you need to be incredible to "act" in a Star Wars thing. Enough charisma is all that's needed.

Yeah, I've only seen in her Smallville role of Lana Lang and while I think she does a good job with it I really don't think the role has required a high degree of acting skill as written. However I'm not at all concerned about her charisma. ;)

I think this would be squeezing too much out of star wars.

I agree. A few days ago, I had about three hundred dollars on me, and I was in Best Buy. (Money in a Candy Shop) I was looking at the latest DVDs that contain the original cut to Star Wars. I ended up buying "Return of the Jedi', and I decided not to bother with the others. Rumor has it that there may be a box set of all six movies, which will be released for the 30th aniversary. Truthfully, if they did end up releasing them, I will not buy into another version of Star Wars. I think they have created a Star Wars overload, which has drained my interest in the main franchise. The latest stuff from Lucas Arts is mediocore at best, so I am not going to buy into that end of the buisness as well.

I think Star Wars has been shot to hell for me. I am interested in the novels (EU) end of Star Wars, for I think that novel writters do a better job. Lately anyway.

When it comes to Star Wars, I am into a very few avenues:

Knights of The KotOR (Games and Novels)

Tim Zhan (Novels)

That is about it for me. I am not going to bother watching a Star Wars TV-Show. Since Lucas has his hands on it, imagine how horribly written it will be.

He's a horrible director for sure...but...If I got it correctly, the show's about the events between episode 3 and 4, right? If we're lucky, it'll be a bit more action-orientated then the movies, introducing Quinlan Vos etc. And not to forget, all the Jedi have to die by the hands of Vader and his men, so there's a good chance it will be one hell of a dark series. Or at least one hell of a dark atmosphere :xp:

Or...it will be the Star Wars 'smallville' about Luke Skywalkers young years. If so... I agree with you, and won't bother watching it too. :(

EDIT:

Searched around Wookipedia a bit...

I know it's not very reliable, but these quotes cought my attention:

Lucas will write and produce the first season, and then "hand it off from there", while remaining executive producer and general overseer throughout the rest of the series. The style of the series will be similar to Lucas' Young Indiana Jones TV series.

He won't be writing it all the way :D

"It is going to be much darker, grittier. It's much more character-based."

"Think about bounty hunter, that’s all I can tell you."

Frank Oz (Yoda), Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine), Hayden Christensen (Darth Vader), Jimmy Smits (Bail Organa), Wayne Pygram (Grand Moff Tarkin), Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett/clone troopers) have expressed their interest in occasional appearances.

"Now you will experience the full power of the darkside" it has to be the cheesiest line ever.

My candidate is:

"POWEEEEER UNLIMITEEEEEED POWEEER!"

...and everyone will sit glued to the screen for every single episode of star wars TV, you all know this. At least I am man enough to admit it.

I think it's going to be about non-major characters, so not about Vader killing Jedi and not about young Luke I would assume.

Im not bashing this though, GL could do this right and make it brilliant. Even new revolution in tv possibly, specially if he played a few cards from JJ Abrams 'Lost'. Also I shall display a picture of Kristin from my stash...

Yes, they are photos she took of herself and gave to me.

 I feel like I just walked into a men's locker room.

I'd watch a TV series about SW since I like just about anything SW, but if the shows are really cheesy I probably won't continue for very long.

Liam Neeson was terrific in Schindler's List, btw.

Actually out of the prequel trilogy, i consider Liam Neeson to be the best actor in them all combined. He actually played the part well and believable.

Erm...Ewan McGregor and Samuel L. Jackson ring any bells?

Hayden Christenwhatever is a whiney twat though...

she looks cock-eyed in that pic :xp:

 She looks just fine to me! Take that back! :xp:

 Uh, speaking for myself, I don't talk about hot wimmen when I'm in the locker room. :p Hopefully all our pictures were in good taste though and didn't send you packing. Cuz you know that sometimes there are things in a men's locker room that some women just don't want to see. :D

Give me Chloe. ;)
Now there is a talented actress!!! Of course, not knowing what any of the female roles are in the SW live-action TV series means there isn't any way of really knowing if Allison Mack would be a good choice to fill any of those roles.

Ian McDiarmid is a strong contender...
