Char Ell
Anybody heard of this before? Illinois High School Students Expelled After Planning Fight on MySpace These Illinois high school students must really hate each other's guts. Someone didn't get invited to some party, things apparently got real ugly shortly thereafter and the thing blossomed into a serious ongoing feud. So after school officials tried to get them to reconcile earlier in November they ended up planning a fight on school grounds later on using MySpace to set the time and place. What gives? Talk about holding a serious grudge and stupidity! At least have the brains to plan the fight somewhere else besides the school that already threatened to expel you if you got out of line again. Bah! Maybe they didn't want to go to school anymore anyway.
milo
No one was seriously injured in the fight involving 11 girls and one boy. Wow, sounds like it was a total cat-fight. Wish I could have seen it.
Samnmax221
Wow, sounds like it was a total cat-fight. Wish I could have seen it. I haven't seen a good fight (one that wasn't broken up) since the 7th grade. There were these 2 chicks rolling around and pulling hair out in the portables, it was super. stingerhs
wait a second, "a good fight"?? since when did two high schoolers all of the sudden become professional boxers?? high school fights are often ugly affairs. you might get some brutal hits in there occasionally, but nothing more. as for the Myspace thing, it just offers more evidence for one of my favorite sayings: "Stupidity never goes out of fashion." When you compare what I've seen to the Race Riot that almost occurred in the School across town last week you gain a new perspective.

Emperor Devon
What's there to say? People aren't very bright. Sheesh, they were even stupid when it came to the fighting. Anyone with half a brain would've planned an ambush over a direct fight.

Probably, but you don't have to read The Art of War to know basic advantages. Even children should be able to tell you that surprise is an advantage. Rabish Bini
Why plan a fight over myspace? Why not just fight the second u see each other? And at my skool, there have been some very nasty fights. Some people have been full-on knocked out.
Darth InSidious
Yet more proof that Myspace is simply a theatre for voyeurism and the desperate for attention and recognition as well as the mentally warped.

Diego Varen
Why can't kids settle things with Rock/Paper/Scissors like everybody else? I like that game. If I could, I'd play it here on LF. But MySpace is boring, in my opinion.
