Jae Onasi
I find it odd that there is such a concentration of INTJ's on this particular forum. On the other forum somebody posted it on there were only 2 or 3 INTJ's. Begs the question: what can we infer from this? We have a whole bunch of people on this forum masterminding plans for me as ENTJ/Fieldmarshal to execute in order to take over the world. Or something like that. Or not. Darth InSidious
@Darth InSidious--although your type can in fact change, there's also a mood differential. Unless you're taking one of the huge batteries (I mean ~500 questions, but at least more than 72 [not to put too fine a point on it]) altering your answer to just a few questions can change the outcome of the test. Typically I tell people to go with their gut instinct. If you think about a question for more than a few seconds, you're unlikely to give an honest answer to the question. And if you disagree with your result...take it again =) YMMV. I've taken it about 5 times and got a fairly stable result now of INFP, so I'd guess that's me *goes to find a ~500 question personality test*
JasraLantill
We have a whole bunch of people on this forum masterminding plans for me as ENTJ/Fieldmarshal to execute in order to take over the world. Or something like that. Or not. Jae... shhhh! Our plans will be ruined! Ruined, I say! Actually, it's not a big surprise to me to see a lot of Introverts listed here, but I agree with John Galt -- there does seem to be a lot more INTJ's in our population sample than the 1% that the humanmetrics site predicts for the population at large. But, suppose there has to be someplace for 'masterminds' to gather, meet and discuss the viability and pitfalls of their world domination plans. ChAiNz.2da
want to talk about extremes? Get a load of this: Your Type is: ISTP Introverted 78 Sensing 1 Thinking 1 Perceiving 22 You are: * very expressed introvert * slightly expressed sensing personality * slightly expressed thinking personality * slightly expressed perceiving personality I guess I should say that I have no eyes since I've lived in a pitch black cave all of my life.. hehehe... People?!?! NOOOOooooooo! Run away! They got the career choices about right though (at least what I went to school for ): Computer Programming Engineering Technology Education Mechanics/Automotive Repair Social Service Law Counseling Librarian From Wiki: According to Socionics, ISTps, or "pragmatists", are keen observers of the world around them, fascinated by the way different environments interact--two cultures juxtaposed or the differences between nature and civilization. ISTps like to be comfortable and prefer aesthetically pleasing surroundings. They are careful in their enterprises, prone to avoid high-risk business. With the tasks they undertake, they are methodical and detail-oriented, but also innovative in incorporating new ideas. ISTps have a tendency towards depression and pessimism that can paralyze them in the fact of problems. Since they are not expressive about their emotions, others may see them as detached and uninvolved. On the contrary, ISTps are highly sensitive to the ways that others behave towards or speak about them.

John Galt
A version of this thread was also posted over at FD Assault, a Counter-Strike/World of Warcraft/Battlefield 2 forum community. The results over there were quite different, proportionally. Totenkopf
Funny, took the test again and got a different result from a few days ago (not that I didn't EXPECT that). Last time was an INTP, this time an ISTP. According to one of the links that would put one in the company of the following famous people: Famous ISTPs: U.S. Presidents: Zachary Taylor Others: Charles Bronson Tom Cruise* James Dean Clint Eastwood Burt Reynolds Keith Richards Charlie Yeager Frank Zappa *Don't worry, I won't be running off any time soon to give all my $$ to scientology.
