Commander Obi-Wan
I don't read many books. So I don't really have a book that would be considered bad, such books as Lord of the Flies. I didn't think the book was horrible, but I didn't care much for it. Movies, umm, I see a lot these days. I like most of them, but some movies are just horrible. Many of them superhero movies. Ghost Rider was craptastic. Honestly, why would you have Nicolas Cage as the main character in a superhero movie? Ghost Rider was one of the few comic book I actually read. A disappointment for sure. Then, there are those stupid comedies (Accepted) and parody-based movies like Epic Movie. Unfortunately, I waste my money on seeing such movies. >_>
Rain128
Worst movie that would have to be Romeo & Juliet (the one with Leonardo Desuckio) Actually any movie with him in it is just down right bad in my opinion... Wich dosnt count for much i know Worst book well Tommyknockers was just too boring to finish... so ill take that one.
Negative Sun
Prey for Rock 'n Roll and The Village are by far the biggest piles of garbage I have ever seen, most depressing and pointless things ever... Harry Potter and the Prisoner of WTFakaban has to be the worst pile of **** I have ever read, waste of my precious time, JK Rowling should be spanked... Emperor Devon
Book: I cannot STAND Atlas Shrugged. Even thinking about it or Ayn Rand makes my blood boil. Couldn't agree more. Her views on economics would lead to widspread poverty, depression and hoarding of wealth, her moral views would turn us all into greedy 'winner-takes-all' bastards who think only of ourselves, and literally every idea she's thought up is the perfect antithesis to being a kind and charitable human being. I'm glad there are few people who take her writings as truth. I still like her books though. Hmm, movies... I've seen bad movies in classes, but very few voluntarily. The only one that comes to mind is The Bourne Supremacy - not exactly bad but I just couldn't get into it. One of the few movies I stopped watching half an hour or so into it. Book are even rarer. I've read some bad assigned ones, but not many of my own choosing. The Harry Potter series, I suppose - the writing style is tolerable, but the characters are all completely two-dimensional and the hero suffers from teenage angst. More overrated than awful, I think. I don't read many books. So I don't really have a book that would be considered bad, such books as Lord of the Flies. I didn't think the book was horrible, but I didn't care much for it. You jest! Sabretooth
Yes, this is definitely the worst movie/book thread out there. What? Yes, right. Book: No idea. I like all of them books. Movie: The most recently seen bad movie was "Pathfinder" for me, so there. Can't remember anything else.

Ghost Rider was one of the few comic book I actually read. A disappointment for sure. To quote Phantom Knight..... "... how dare you! *slap*" I am a big fan of Ghost Rider comics and I was not the least disappointed in that movie. I am such a big fan, I was afraid I'd hate the movie when I saw it, but it absolutely blew me away! It was way better than Spider-man 3 IMHO. spinkle
To those of you who said Atlas Shrugged...try plowing through the ****ing Fountainhead. Dear sweet Jesus, it drips with male chauvinism, pretention and selfishness, with a good measure of unadulterated self-righteousness thrown in for good measure. Ayn Rand is a trap! King Dando
Zombie Nightmare - It was in an MST3K episode, the only good thing about it was Adam West, and even then it wasn't that good, it did have a fairly rockin' soundtrack though, in fact the title theme was Ace of Spades =). Although that doesn't make up for the bad writing, plot, characters, and general lack of continuity.
Mike Windu
Hah. The Fountainhead was a bunch of crap.
Samuel Dravis
Hey! The Fountainhead was fun to read. ^_^ I agree that Battlefield Earth was terrible (I do like the book, tho - "Leverage," said Terl, "leverage.") However the worst one I think I've seen was a Bollywood adaptation of Asimov's Nightfall. That was horrendous.
Fish.Stapler
I got all of Ayn Rand's books for Christmas. I assumed that since she was on the top 100 lists all over the place (figured out later it was only because of the raving Randroids who, like scientologists, vote and vote and vote to stick their crap to the top) that her stuff would be good...now I have a lot of good tinder . Got about 800 or so pages into Atlas Shrugged before I quit (don't get me wrong it has its good parts...but thats very rare) and I read through the Fountainhead...only reason Atlas Shrugged ranked lower for me was because it was longer and I wasted a lot more of my life on it. The Fountainhead was a crock along with Atlas Shrugged but at least it wasn't so damn long. The only good thing about Ayn Rand was inspiring Neil Peart and Rush to make their music...that's it. Samuel Dravis
You're kidding, that's ****ing blasphemy!!!I agree. I think the only thing I watched it for was because David Carradine was in it and I figured it couldn't be all that bad. Mistake!

Jeff
did it involve some weird form of training utilizing bolders tied to peoples legs? And melting a metal sword into power gloves?Must have been a different one. I think these people tried to follow the sw story slightly but everything took place on land and a lot of it just didn't make sense. It might have been from South America somewhere. DrPhil2501
What's Turkish Star Wars like? Does it have a different story, or is it basically the entire series but dubbed in Turkish? I've always wondered...
