Datheus
Super Smash Brothers: Brawl December 3. Didn't see this posted yet. There ye go.
swphreak
Wish Brawl was coming to the Cube. (I'm gonna hijack this, and turn it into an E3-fest thread.) There's some awesome stuff coming this year. A short list of games I looking forward to: Mass Effect Assassin's Creed Ace Combat 6 Mercenaries 2: World in Flames GTA IV Stranglehold Kane and Lynch: Dead Men Blacksite: Area 51 MASS EFFECT All of those are 360 (or PS3) games. I can honestly say I'm not impressed with the Nintendo this year. Reggie was talking about how Wii isn't a fad and it's the future of gaming, but that's bullcrap. The real games are coming out for 360 (and PS3), and the casual games (and crappy ports) are going to the Wii. Not to mention I'm still not sold on the Wiimote. I'll take the traditional gamepad and joystick instead.
IG-64
I have IGN insider, so yeah, I've been watching E3 pretty closely. I watched the Nintendo press conference live, which was pretty cool/boring. Galaxy and Brawl release date was the biggest announcement. Wii Fit looks pretty cool.
Char Ell
Hey! What about some of the PC game goodness at E3? Assassin's Creed will also be released on PC, not to mention - BioShock - Crysis - Gears of War - Unreal Tournament
Lynk Former
The irony with the Nintendo conference is that it was just as big as the Sony and Microsoft conferences... but the target audience was very different. All of those non-gamers out there are going to think Wii Fit is the best thing ever and it's going to be scary the amount of hype it's gonna get if Nintendo does it right. @ Phreak: So then by that logic the PS2 was just a short term fad too since it had a lot of casual games and crappy ports. But that doesn't mean that there aren't any good games for Wii, I have a long list of good original Wii exclusive games I wanna buy. But thanks for saying I'm not playing the real games.... *looks around* I thought I was... But in the end, if you've played a good Wii game and still aren't convinced of the controls, then you'll never be sold on it at all. It's scary though, after playing with the Wiimote + Nunchuk for so long, it's hard getting back to a traditional game pad. It's superior abilities are best illustrated by Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. If anyone has played it the old way, I suggest you play it the new way and see how fun and effective it is... unless you're uncoordinated like some of the people on the net seem to be XD But I do see what you're trying to say... Would they really be awesome? I am skeptical about how well this thing will really work... And Lynk, I can understand your thinking with that idea, but I also hope it doesn't come to that. That's one of those "motion for the sake of motion" ideas that really wouldn't make a lot of sense. I'd personally prefer some type of mech-game. Well isn't that the entire point of Wii? To try stuff like this? I mean, and I've said this in another thread, EVERY Wii game could turn out to be crap in terms of controls, but that's the risk Nintendo chose to take with this all new control type and it's going to affect EVERY game released on the system. I mean yes. Motion for the sake of motion because that IS what Wii is all about. Cause without these different ways of playing, it's not exactly competing on a graphical/hardware power front now is it lol
Reclaimer
Wish Brawl was coming to the Cube. Me too, me too. I'm not too big for the Wii. I mean, I don't have a problem with it, but as Phreak said, I'd take a traditional controller any day. Now, I'm excited for Halo 3 obviously, but there's MANY more games coming out that I want. Halo 3 KotOR 3 (News, Release, Anything) Force Unleashed Medal of Honor Airborne Fable 2 A big WTF was when I saw they're making Lego Batman: The Game. I think they're going to the extreme now with Lego games. Lego Star Wars? Good. Lego Star Wars 2? Pushing it. Lego Star Wars 3? Ok... And now Lego Batman... Hopefully tomorrow/today will have some good news for us Star Wars fans as LucasArts takes the stage.

Reclaimer
There's rumour of a LEGO Indiana Jones too... Seriously? That's crazy. It seem's they're trying to mooch off all of the big franchises out there. Next it'll be Lego Die Hard and Lego Matrix. Insane.
swphreak
Dude, I'd totally play Lego Matrix. Bullet-time Legos! I can't believe I forgot about Fable 2 and Forced Unleashed. Then again, I was thinking more along the lines of upcoming games. I have no idea when those two are being released. If people want to see some good E3 footage, visit GameSpot's E3 Live page. It's so much better than G4's "Exclusive Live Coverage." Ugh, I've watched about 1 hour out of G4's 2 days of coverage so far.

Rogue15
Looks like it's about time to purchase an Xbox 360. KotOR3, Halo 3, Fable 2, Force Unleashed....
BongoBob
I saw a presentation on G4 of Call Of Duty 4, and zoh my friggin god it looked good. I would never have thought it was the game, at least not running in real time. It was absolutely gorgeous, and my want for that game immediately rose. Hopefully it'll be better then 3. CoD 2 was awesome, and 3 was ok. I saw the video, and it doesn't look like it'll disappoint...but so did CoD 3. We'll just have to wait and see. I'm mainly looking for a KotOR 3 announcement and more Fable 2 details. It's expected this year.
Lynk Former
*looks around* Not that anyone seems to care but. Super Mario Galaxy is looking awesome as always and I can't wait to play it... I say that after not actually liking Mario 64 or Mario Sunshine. Bumble Bee suit FTW! It'll be out in November for the US, December/January for Australia... Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is looking to be very cool and everyone who has played it has said that the controls are brilliant. The general opinion seems to be that Retro Studios is definitely taking steps to proving that Wii can handle superior FPS control schemes... even if Corruption is an FPA. It'll be out in August for the US... I'm guessing around October for Australia, November at the latest. Super Smash Bros Brawl being released in the US on Dec 3, cool, that means it should be out by January or February at the latest for Australia. The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass is looking great and everyone seems to absolutely love it. Golden Sun DS shown behind closed doors, an early build at least, rock on

I might by a Wii now if prices go down, but I'm really considering 360 stuff first before any other consoles.
Mike Windu
I'm still not sold on getting a Wii... the only games NIntendo seems to have are first party... until they get some good support going I'm going to keep my distance.. (At any rate, I can mooch off dormmates who have Wiis XD)
Lynk Former
No More Heroes is my most wanted third party Wii game at the moment, but yeah, in terms of traditional games, third parties are lacking any good ones for Wii. They're mostly ports, but there are some exclusives for Wii, though a lot of them don't seem to be all THAT great. Though I'm hoping Zak & Wiki turns out to be insanely fun and NiGHTS can live up to the awesomeness of the Dreamcast one.
ET Warrior
I'm super stoked at the 360 lineup for this holiday season. I'm really not sure I'm going to have any time to play all of the games that I want, but I'm damn sure going to try!
Sabretooth
I'm a PC-only sort of bum, so my list is: 1. Assassin's Creed 2. Unreal Tournament 3 3. BioShock 4. Crysis Golden Sun DS shown behind closed doors, an early build at least, rock on Woah, are you serious, Lynkie?! Golden Sun was the awesomest RPG ever made. Golden Sun DS will own! I saw most of the good trailers. Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3's were awesome. Haze also looks promising.
MTV2
Don't know if this has been posted yet, but Sony is releasing a new PSP. the PSP will be slimmer, have a TV-Out, support AVI and MJPEG video, have a new UMD drive, come in Piano black, White, Special Star Wars edition (white with Darth Vader on the back, bundled with SW: BF2) $199US. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. That explains CoD 3's crappyness. No one can do a game by someone else as well as the original developers. I'm glad it's in safe hands now. And Lynk has me wanting a Wii now. Damn you.

Lynk Former
...Which isn't very different from the PSP, I hear the D-Pad on it is very nice though and a bigger battery life is always good. The only thing Sony should do is release it at the same price the current PSP is at at the very least.
