An invisible lightsaber makes it easy to conceal and you could easily attack the enemy as the enemey does not know where you are going to strike. Failing that, Pink. A Pink Lightsaber will cause the Sith Lord to laugh, buying me enough time to do the first strike.

But a lightsabre is fairly loud, so it'd be obvious that it was on, and your opponent could look at the hilt to get the general idea where you're aiming it.

An invisible/ultraviolet lightsaber with a silencer? @topic: I prefer a metallic silver saber.

(Rough quote) For me, I'd get a blue saber, get it destroyed somehow, then get a green saber. Not an homage to Luke or anything, I just always thought that transition is cool.
