edlib
Played a bunch of different games tonight. Well, I tried anyway... Sucked hard at all. Made zero progress at any. In fact,.. I think I actually lost progress on some them. I guess I'm just not in the mood right now. Work was slow and dull. Had a good lunch though. Some e-mail I dashed off yesterday clarifying our official position on crew pay seems to have created an unexpected stir in some circles for some reason. Didn't expect the reaction I got. Took me really by surprise. Tomorrow night's show is going to be a major pain-in-the-ass. Ya-hoo. Weekend is going to blow too... but at least that's 2 days of decent extra money. Still haven't got my car inspected. Maybe Thursday or Friday morning....

Nitro
Got some nice snowfall here last night, but my joy was cut short when my fiance's car decided to stop sitting half-in half-out of the driveway at 11PM... She'd backed the car up to move it to the other side of the driveway, and when she put it in gear to go forward again, nothing happened. The shifter had no tension whatsoever, and we couldn't push it back into the driveway because the transmission stayed in park regardless of what gear we tried to put it in. I had to park my car in front of it with the 4-ways on to make sure the plow didn't try to cut it in half while I was underneath it trying to figure out what the hell happened. After about an hour of messing around (including 15 minutes spent just trying to get the boot off the shifter) I decided to get a hammer and shift the bloody transmission from under the hood, and it was during that process that my hand hit the transmission cable accidentally, and the thing moved like it wasn't attached to the transmission... Because it wasn't. The bloody cable had snapped right where it met the transmission, but the rubber "accordion" covering it hadn't moved, so it looked like it was still intact during my initial look under the hood. I banged it into neutral with the hammer, pushed it onto the road, hammered it into drive and drove it to a repair shop, hammered it back into park and dropped the key through the mail slot with a note taped to it saying I'd call in the morning to let 'em know what was wrong. It was 3AM by the time I got home, I had to get up at 7 to drive her to work, my 10 hour shift starts in 40 minutes, and I'm not allowed caffeine with the meds I'm on. Nitro is one tired fella... Zargon
dolphins are going to be the Cowboys of the southeast. what does that mean exactly? not alot of cowboy fans around here in bears country, but we have everyone from our division(and div of old ) equally outside of the pack, who we despise more than anyone.(thank god they lost the 3 games that mattered this year, 2 vs the bears, and the nfc championship game! sorry K_K!) K_Kinnison
We got metric craploads of snow here. 18 inches in the last 12 hours, the county plows gave up around noon, and won't be out til 9pm. I got done with work, and when I got to my apartment building I saw it was unplowed and about a foot deep. Decided to park at the nearby walgreens instead. Last night I won a game of curling with my last shot of the game. (I was playing 2nd). We were able to tie the game in the 8th end to go to an extra end. we didn't have hammer and had the difficulty of trying to steal. Our lead threw a center guard, then they threw a corner guard, and we countered with another center guard (fairly standerd opening) then they threw another corner guard and I was asked to take it out with my first rock. Then they drew to the back of the 8 foot behind our center guards and I was asked to do the same thing but end up on top. I ended up being 4 feet shorter behind our guards on right on top of the button (center) a perfect shot with a little help from the sweepers. THe rest of the game had them trying to take out a guard and we would put up another. Final shot of the hammer team was to do a very low percentage corner takeout and roll to come back and take out my rock. missed by about an inch and we won the game. Woo hoo! edlib
I do believe that last year at this time I submitted a post that was along the lines of: "***! I HATE this goddamn show!!!!! " Well... funny enough, that still applies. Go figure. *Sigh* Back to work... Back to Hell...

Cmdr. Cracken
Yeah, hopefully we can make a dent in the competition in the AFC, and the AFC East Division. I'd like to see someone other than Indy or the Patriots be in top contention every year in the AFC.
Rogue15
close to beating Turok on hard difficulty. then i unlock...inhuman difficulty! think i'm on the final level...it's freakin hard. don't really know what to do so i'm guessing. load times are too long for a xbox 360 game. -_-

edlib
Work was slow. Easy. Tired again tonight. Only about 3 or 4 hours sleep last night. Bed early. Awesome. Have to report to work at 6:30 am on Saturday. Will be a late night, too. Whoopee. Better rest up now I guess... Random Thought: Saw a sticker on the back of piece of machinery the other day that struck me as odd for some reason: "Made In Scotland" I don't know why it took me so by surprise. Just not what I would expect, I guess.
Rogue15
i saw the 360 Turok skin in my neighboring department at walmart today...i asked if i could have it, and i got it. free! the lady said 'well if they ask, just say you didn't get it when you bought the game here' edit: just beat Turok on hard. the boss is too damn cliche...but it was fun. now i'm going through it on inhuman difficulty... Rogue15
my tracker is at the dealer. awaiting them to fix a 'donut' or something on the muffler, and check out the transmission. sucks, cause now i am relying on someone to drive me to bowling. i prefer driving myself there, or my sister driving me there, she'd let me use her car, but something is hanging off of it that drags and makes sparks...grrr!!! apartment is pretty warm..well, imo. oh yeah...other things accomplished today: paid a few bills, got my taxes e-filed and approved by the IRS...oh and i got my mini digital camcorder out and threw the videos onto this computer so i could erase the memory and use it again. edlib
Pretty chill, yet surprisingly productive day for me at work today. Nice (though a bit pricey...) dinner with a few of the co-workers afterwards. I have to be back out of bed in less than 5 hours to face a 16+ hour day of High School Jazz Bands tomorrow... So: G'Night, all.
Rogue15
got to go bowling.....i bowled DAMN GOOD for what i thought...was throwing the ball straight down the lane....i bowled a 111. lol ok it's not the best i've done, but i was throwing it so fast that when it hit the pins, they went FLYING!!!! near the last 2 frames of our game, the bowling alley managers got retarded and stuck a group of teenies right next to us, despite the fact there were over 20 other lanes open, so we left after that game right over to dennys. got the usual grand slam breakfast meal, decided to go with hot tea instead of coffee. gotta work 1-9 tomorrow. easy shift, no complaints here. My mom is coming over tomorrow to help my sister clean out the apartment. I guess i need to start cleaning out my room of stuff i don't need and never use. aside from my star wars and pc game boxes collection.
edlib
Quarter past 3 in the am, and I'm up and ready(?) to face the day. Always one of my favorite days of the year. Oh well... it's an extra $550 I wouldn't be earning had I decided to stay home and sleep in. And it is a pretty easy day for me... just a long one. I just show up and "white glove" it, for the most part. Gotta stand around in a suit all day... that's almost a deal-breaker... My big hope today: That the crappy weather in New England scares a bunch of the bands into leaving early, making the night time showcase of the winning bands I have to mix very short indeed. Wish me luck on that count...
