You rock! And this whole thing has brought up something:

Your ability with modding should be used to help make K3 (If it starts production) because your areas look so much better that the ones LucasAts did. You should get a jib with them!

For example: SS did the most awsome blaster carbine ever! It was better that the ones LucasArts did. He should join.

And with Quanon, he can UVW-Map the most thrilling items I have ever seen. E.g Paladin Helm. He should join too!

I don't see why you shouldn't join them because you are the 3 best modders in the world! (SilverEdge9 comes 4th).

Please tell me why you wouldn't!

Oookkkkaaayyyy......

Well, this does look very nice, and, yeah, I was reading this thread again, and yeah, there is something odd about Karen Sisco... was that Jake's Mom from DS9?

Oh, well, looks good... And, yeah, maybe the guy is just a weirdo who keeps the lights on all the time.

Oh, and @Darthrevan243: I don't believe that you could turn the lights on or off with a trigger set to a panel on a wall, since it is a direct modification to the file that says what the inside looks like... (Can't remember what it is!) Like a model file... I believe.

@darthrevan243 - I do appreciate the compliment, though I don't find myself (especially as a modeler) anywhere near the quality it would take for Obsidian or Bioware to "discover me" and ask me to join them. If that kind of thing does happen, it is likely rare and to those who are truly gifted in that area. I still have a few years of college to go through before I take a jib from anyone. :)

As for the room, I will do some extra work on it later this week if I have time (finals are coming up). I'll try to get you guys a better looking couch model and some other things in there as well.

Thank you for the feedback,

-Doc

That's looking amazing, Doc (I feel an urge of calling you Gsccc, but whatever :D ). I'm extremely anxious to see the final results of your "creation", and this certainly goes on my list of download as soon as it's available mods. With all pleasure. :)

EDIT: Has no one found it strange that the Quarren's name is Karen Sisco?

Yeah. Does it have anything to do with Star Trek:DS9?

Perhaps leave it open underneath, like its stand on "legs". It'll give a less massive solid feel.

Other suggestion, throw some pillows in it, or let the plush continue on the back, eh back support thingy...

Or add in some extra texture thingys, like lights/tech buttons to make it feel more Sci-Fi. Stuff like in build remote for their TV set :p

Or some sort of tech for massages

The sizes seems OK, Screenshots are never like the realtime thing and are often miss leading.

Still, if you do pursue a career in modelling (3D, not the nekkid kind), this will be great for your port folio! You're a real crowd pleaser! Even DDD wants your babies... or is that normal? ;)

Spectacular stuff! I'm worn out just looking at the renders.

Alright, so I did some work on the couch this weekend (tried to fit it in between studies for finals X_X. I ended up changing the color and texture of the actual couch unit itself, and making the cushions bigger and into separate units, as present in most couches.

Now, on to more important things.

Here are some pictures of the whole room so you can get the full effect of the couches, I am going to mess with the lighting later, because it really doesn't do what I want yet. You'll notice I made some other changes to the room as well.

Really Good, awesome in fact.

The only thing I don't like is how solid the couches are in colour, is their anyway to break it up maybe? I seriously don't think all a couches are completely immaculate :)

Other than that REALLY good.

Unfortunately, that is as good as the couches get, the are actually 2 colors, you can't really see it in the pictures but the armrests and the tops of the couch are a darker shade than the rest. I can't spend too much time on the couch as there will always be something someone feels could be changed about them and I have to draw the line somewhere, so I'm going to move on to the other parts of that room and begin to wrap it up by making buildings outside the window and fixing the chairs to look more like the couches.

Thank you guys for all the feedback,

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I really appreciate it. Just a quick update to let everyone know that things are still going well. We are currently in development of our second scene, and are working on things that don't really produce much eye candy to show you :(. But worry not! Eye candy will continue later. Thank you again for all of your support.
