Nope I haven't played beyond Telos. I figured I'd better finish KotOR first lol ;) and I probably won't be playing KotOR II untill the TSL Restoration Project is complete.

But I asked because I was thinking of how much KotOR II revolves around Revan, since I'd like to play as Revan with his robe in the game so... but would be stupid if the entire game revolves around Revan, and you'd end up fighting him Revan vs Revan hehe

I think it's sad that the story of Revan as player character ends in KotOR :( and instead the player character takes the shape of a Jedi Exile.

Revan appears only in an tomb on Korriban as a vision. With him is a dark side jedi exile, when you play with Revan Robes he will be headless...

Headless eh? Hehe sounds like fun. Thanks for the info mate :) I think I might use the Revan's Robe then :D

Not to mention its a flowing cape and belt. Screenshots wouldn't really capture the work that he has done on the mod. A video might, but then again it would be a somewhat long process to create a video, host it somewhere, and let us know that it is up. He could be making the cape flow during that time. :D

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I understand, cape and belt are already done and he's working on the combat animations now?#

SS, could you tell us how much frames are already done?

Alright, I'll explain the process. I've taken Revan's model, and imported the animations from KotOR. So Revan is animated just as he is in KotOR, with the clipping cape. Then what I have to do is animate the Cape and Belt over all the 18,000 frames. It's a very tedious process that won't be very rewarding and it won't look at all good until it's all done. TBH, it's taking longer than expected, and I don't know when it'll be done. But, since I've started, I've finished 8,000 out of 18,000. But that's not working on it 24/7.

Hey SithSpecter, I noticed yesterday when I went to your homepage that you were posting updates on your mods. When I scrolled down I noticed your website had not been updated since 6/18/2008. I was wondering if you had noticed that. Hope your greatest mod ever is coming along well.

You will be a hero to quite a few of us :) finally Revan can run with a proper cape! :) That is unfortunately about all the reward I can give you!

With great mods, come great precision!

EDIT:

Hey SS....Question though its a dumb question!

did someone ask you to animate the belt and cape or did you just do it to help many modders and gamers of now and the future.!?!?!?!?!?!?

I believe that since Settoken (Sp?) revealed that it was possible to do such a thing, SS decided to give life to every KotOR player's dream of having a actual cape and belt for Revan.

So, I believe he just decided to do it.

So there is a God! :)

And on if I may, just a small question completely OFF-topic, but something that has bothered me.

If I use the footlker001.utp which is the footlocker right where you start on the Endar Spire in your dorm, to put some items into it, will it conflict with anything major in the game storywise, prevent me from advancing storyline or something? Because I have heard that placeables use the same file for various places in the game, and the contents I put in this footlocker does infact appear again later on in a few other footlockers just like it, but they appear to be mere footlocker. I am asking just because I am worried if I might need a key or some other important item from a footlocker later on in the game, and then can't get it because I modified the contents for that footlocker or something... understand my concern? Anyway I am on mac so I can' use a different placeable since I can't extract the files I would need so...

Thanks for any replies to this, although I know it's monster off-topic ;)

To answer your question, there are multiple instances of certain utps. There is a way tho to put an item in a placeable without affecting other placeables.

See this thread.
