jrrtoken
Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson It's a cyberpunk thriller which directly influenced the development of many MMOs and even Second Life. Absolutely fantastic read, and should be required reading, as far as I'm concerned.
zelda 41
The house of the Scorpian - Nancy Farmer Alice in Wonerland and through the Looking Glass - Lewis Carroll In the Forests of the Night, Demon in my View, Shattered Mirror, and Midnight Predator - Amelia Atwater-Rhodes I've also read What is Goth, by Aurelio Voltaire Hernández. It has an interesting explaination of everything of the Goth scene. I personally liked it, although most of the reason is because Voltaire wrote it, and I do adore him. <

Rabish Bini
I don't really read many books. But Life's Missing Instruction Manual, by Dr Joe Vitale is an awesome book, and really gives you a new perspective on life, and would probably go under Non-fiction. Pavlos
Spamuel Dravis offered me spampix in exchange for a list and I better get them this time. No more tantalising pictures of spamtoes -- I want the real deal. Only book you'll ever need: The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Such emotions! Such brilliant imagery! And when he breaks out of the cocoon -- oh! I think I need to sit down.

DeadYorick
"The Shadow over Innsmouth" Very good book by H.P. Lovecraft. Good amount of Cthulu mythos "The Running Man" An equally good book by Stephen King that I even based a fanfic off of "The Long Walk" Great horror novel that deals with a lot of psychology and death Really any famous H.G Wells novel. Such as War of the Worlds or the Time Machine (Morlocks FTW) The book We is pretty good by Yevgeny Zamyatin
