  1. 1. Who's the better Scoundrel?

I think Atton is better because I mean, he's killed many Jedi in the Mandalorian Wars(was it mandalorian wars? haven't played KotOR 2 in 2 years)

What did Han Solo do? Sure he's awesome and very skilled, but Atton is just that much more skilled.

Tell me your guy's opinions!

Han Solo, because of his evolution from scoundrel to hero, not to mention his reputation of being the scoundrel!

You have a really good point there, I was thinking of combat skill alone, not too much of their character, the 2 start out as their cocky, arrogant selves, but Han is the only one I can say evolves as a character from scoundrel to hero, while Atton does get better, but he does keep that scoundrel side of him.

Oh come on, it's hardly fair is it?

One's a rugged, handsome, scruffy-looking rogue, while the other relies on one-liners and only ever wants to play pazaak.

It's an unfair comparison; every right-minded guy wants to be Han Solo.

Solo FTW.

No contest. Solo == win.

It is because the contest is rigged. Where is Lando Calrissian? Even Han’s would have trouble dealing with the smoothness that is Lando Calrissian. Billie D Williams is smoother than an ice cold bottle of colt 45. I sense fear kept Lando from being included.

So where is Mission Vao name on the Poll? I’m not positive, but I believe she would have at least managed one vote. I don’t believe RedHawke would allow Mission to be shut out even if his preference was Solo.

Come on, people, come over to the cool side of the pillow.

In fact, I agree is a great character, and he was a highlight in the LoTF books, along with the Luurrve Commander (Lando's words, not mine).

But he still doesn't beat the cocky Corellian with bloodstripes.

I’m not saying either is better than Solo, I’m saying either is better than Atton. :D

Oh, most definately. The problem with Atton is that they tried too hard to make him like Han Solo, and that's the problem. They took it too far, and forgot to even give him a personality other than cheap tribute act.

There can only be one Han Solo.

Make that two. She would have got my heavily biased vote, just cause she is my favorite character from thte game.

I guess Han Solo gets my vote, as he is the original scoundrel. Though, if Lando were in this poll I admit I would have voted for him. Using his scoundrel skills to make a business on Bespin - now thats impressive. Not to mention Billie D. Williams. :D

@Astor_Kaine: quite true, they tried too hard with him. That was probably why he was originally cut from the game. I'm not saying Atton didn't have a few funny moments, but they got real old real quick. That and his pazaak addiction...got a few issues to work out there.

Solo FTW!

My vote... if she were on the list... Mission Vao.

Although Solo beats Rand in almost every way, I really like the Twi'lek better than the two on the list. Although Han is amusing and a 'realistic' type of guy, I really like the street rat who's skills and talent extend to the point of rivaling a force-sensitive's abilities.

Han, more or less, is a fighter. Mission is clever for her age and is much more impressive as a survivor who gets by without a ship and without the means to blast her way out of every situation. Although she treat Big Z like a doorman, I like her cheerful spirit above the cockyness of Solo or the thoughtlessness of Rand.

I think as a fighter, Atton(as he explained) would be better off since he's killed lots of jedi, but overall character would of course be Han Solo. This answer regarding Solo was obvious and I didn't even need to put that down until now. But I am very surprised for the number of Mission Vao fans out there... you guys may like her, but I thought she was too annoying, and wouldn't shut up about being mature for her age, I myself liked Canderous and Jolee. T3 can go die, he didn't do anything useful after he unlocked the sith base

EDIT: 'as he explained' I meant what he tells you in his stories, and from that info, he sounds pretty bad*** for a regular person to murder jedi

Well, if you listen to Atton's story, he does not just run upnd start killing jedi. He poinsons them, gases them, and guns down their allies. Hhe realized that you can't expect to beat a jedi with a blaster. That is his great strength I think.

Yeah, Mission does have a rather large following. (of which I am a part of) I mean, she is pretty mature for 14. To be able to survive in the Lower City of Taris for as long as she did, you have to be mature.

To me, yeah, she knows how to get by pretty good,(with assistance from her muscle-Zaalbar) But she's pretty childish, 1 crack and she gets all worked up about it.

I don't mean she's bad by all of this I'm saying, it's just I like the other characters alot more(except T3 and Juhani-they suck)

Solo, without doubt. Rand may have killed a few Jedi, but then again so did a droid! What did Solo do? Escaped from the first Death Star; aided in the assault on the first Death Star (blew up TIEs saving Skywalker's behind and letting him take the shot); evaded capture by an Imperial fleet; led an assault on an Imperial base on Endor...and that's just the movies!

I agree, though, that Calrisian could give Solo a good run for his money, but they both just leave Atton in the dust!

I found that she wasn't annoying. She WAS very mature for her age. Despite being a pest, she was wise for her age. Her age attitude only extended when she was regarded as a kid... not unless she's addressed as such.

The difference between Han and Atton also gets to the issue that Rand becomes a jedi, but Han is not force sensitive. I would assume that Atton was not a scoundrel for most of his life. More like he was a drifter while Solo had a life planned to come out on top.

Mission and Solo were more alike because they don't become jedi.

Lando could never take Han in a fight, but Lando could frankly con Atton and Han both out of their ships and be gone before they even realized that Lando wasn't going to follow through.

I disliked Mission for a lot of reasons. One, she reminded me of Wesley Crusher. Two, I was irritated about having a child on what was effectively a military warship doing highly dangerous covert operations to save the Republic. Three, her voice grated. Four, I'm not overly fond of Twi'leks anyway. And five, SHUT UP AND STOP WHINING.

Han Solo may not be a Jedi, but he's certainly accomplished a lot more than Atton.

Since when is not being force-sensitive a problem?

Uh no, he didn't plan his life out. He started out as a street child, similar to Mission. He was crew on a freighter as teenager.

He then joined the Imperial Military Academy. Lieutenant Solo was expected to be top of his class, and a future hero of the Empire. But one day, he saw a Wookiee being mistreated and stood up for him. His standing up for him resulted in him being expelled and stripped of rank.

He then drifted from job to job, until he won a ship in a Sabaac game, and got hired by an old fool, a farm boy and two funny looking droids to go to Alderaan. The rest, as they say, is history.
