Revan 411 Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Seeing how these two are in Star Wars, and both are very similar to each other, which one is your favorite? I personally like T3 more, it'll take too long to explain.
Chevron 7 locke Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I like R2-D2, he has more attitude then T3 and his banter with C-3po was always funny
CommanderQ Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 R2-D2 ROCKS! Not only is he far more advanced than T-3, his personality and characteristics are a lot better!
Endorenna Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 R2 FTW!!!!!!!!!! I don't really like T3, personally. :/
TKA-001 Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 R2 destroyed a planet and an entire Imperial fleet in the comic Empire's End. T3 has not. Besides, R2 came first.
JesusIsGonnaOwnSatan Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 i like t3, but r2 is... just legendary.
illuzion69 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Got to go with R2, he is useful unlike the mobile trash can.
Feagildin Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 R2-D2 is the be all end all droid. Period. /thread
Ctrl Alt Del Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 T3 has no personality whatsoever on the first game. On the second, they tried to give him one by using him on solo sequences. It worked, but not enough to surpass Artoo.
DeadYorick Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Since T3 and R2 both have very similar functions and really do the same jobs as each other I can't compare. But personally, and I don't know why. But if I had a starship in SW I would rather have T3-M4 aboard it. But I am not picking favorites here. I am just saying which droid I would want to have aboard my star ship Got to go with R2, he is useful unlike the mobile trash can. R2 was used as a mobile drink holder in Episode 6. So they have both been through embarrassing situations
Feagildin Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 R2 was used as a mobile drink holder in Episode 6. So they have both been through embarrassing situations He was undercover, like, secret agent style. So that was totally not an embarrassing situation, it was an incredibly cool situation. DeadYorick Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 He was undercover, like, secret agent style. So that was totally not an embarrassing situation, it was an incredibly cool situation. T3 went undercover in a way. Atton "sold" him so he could get the codes to G0t0's flag ship. So they could rescue the Exile. Except T3 did this in a more badass way because as soon as he got the codes he left guns blazing.
Feagildin Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 T3 went undercover in a way. Atton "sold" him so he could get the codes to G0t0's flag ship. So they could rescue the Exile. Except T3 did this in a more badass way because as soon as he got the codes he left guns blazing. R2 got to hold a lightsaber when he went undercover. WIN!
DeadYorick Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 R2 got to hold a lightsaber when he went undercover. WIN! All R2 did was keep the lightsaber inside his frame. More or less he just functioned as a moving storage box
thundrfang1 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 T3. He knocked out HK. He has guns when R2 just has a stunner.
WindraSkywalker Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Got to go with R2, he is useful unlike the mobile trash can. Both are mobile trash cans, but r2d2 helped change the fate of the galaxy more times than t3.
Sabretooth Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 R2, because he's cuter when he does things. ^_^ I love T3 too, but I hate it that BioWare tried to make him a replica of R2. I was hoping he'd have a slightly different personality that's similar to R2's, but more serious, businesslike and basically that quiet-guy-in-the-background-that-saves-the-day.
Jeff Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Definitely R2, he was much more heroic for a droid and like Sabre said, I wish they had differentiated T3 more from just an ancient R2.
R2-X2 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 R2 forever! Well T3 is just a bad version of R2 in a way.
GreyJediMaster Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 im with scales, you jsut cant compare. tbh, t3 is just a reinvention of r2 for the kotor era, which is fine, but kinda means you cant distinguish. id say r2 if forced ( no pun intended) cause he was first
