edlib
Looks like Earl was a dud for New England. (Thankfully! ) Last full day of fun-in-the-sun. Better make the most of it. Took a couple of long rides up and down the coastal RT. A1A the last couple of days. Up to Jupiter and down to Fort Lauderdale. A lot of nice scenery. That's where all the money is down here. Det. Bart Lasiter
Looks like Earl was a dud for New England. (Thankfully! )I was at a party last night and people were smoking outside without fear of wet cigarettes even during the 'worst' of it. Earl was totes lame. Keyan Farlander
I'm not sure I've ever had octopus, but squid is one of my favorites.
edlib
I've had both. Not really a fan... but I'll eat it if it's what's being served. Flying home at 4. I hope I don't run into a hard time like I did on the way down. Plus: I'm carrying a '65 Gibson with me this time.
K_Kinnison
I have had squid and octopus. THe main problem is if it is over cooked it becomes seriously chewy. My problem with Octopus is feeling all the little suckers on my tongue creeps me out
edlib
Back in Bahstun. Blah. Time to face the music (literally...) once again. At least I have tomorrow to prepare my psyche for the onslaught of work. EDIT: 1965 was a very good year... '65 Gibson ES-335 in practically MINT condition. (The original tags are still in the case, almost no dings, scratches, or wear.) Bringing the grand total of "guitars I have that I know are older than me" up to: 3. edlib
Thanks! It plays and sounds great, too! There's really a magic to vintage instruments that can't simply be explained away to the fact that you know you are playing a guitar that's old. They really did make them different back then, and the years have a way of mellowing them out in a fantastic fashion. It also brings my personal count of Gibson 335s to 2. Just like the amount of Les Pauls I have. Oh... and: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ZARG!!!

edlib
Eyup. Back to the salt mines. The daily grind. Oh well... this week is actually pretty slow. A bunch of pre-production meetings, but no shows. Ramps up pretty good after that, though.
