Jae Onasi Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Here's a totally real picture of Sabretooth wishing everyone in the US a Happy Turkey Day. I'm thankful that the Good Lord has gotten my family through some of the darkest times of our lives this past summer. My sister-in-law is doing well with her breast cancer treatment and should be cured, my sister made it through 6 months of chemo, surgery to remove her lung and is past the halfway mark of her radiation treatments for her cancer, and I've graduated from physical therapy for my knee replacement and will hopefully be done with the cane in a couple more weeks.
The Doctor Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Happy Thanksgiving to all you Americans out there. Lovely holiday, one of my favourites. Even if we here in Canada did steal it just for its food. >_>
Lynk Former Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 @ Jae: That is the single creepiest picture I have ever seen.
Prime Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Happy Thanksgiving to all my neighbors to the south!
Titanius Anglesmith Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Given my complete dislike of turkey, I'm going with pork ribs with a side of corn on the cob and baked beans. That's what I call a Thanksgiving meal.
Jae Onasi Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 @ Jae: That is the single creepiest picture I have ever seen. It does look a bit pale for Sabretooth, doesn't it?
jawathehutt Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Happy celebrating the later, less rambunctious and less disappearing group of English settlers to the US
Jae Onasi Posted November 26, 2010 Author Posted November 26, 2010 Enjoy your tofurkey. I'm a confirmed carnivore.
mimartin Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Bah humbug, terrible thanksgiving, terrible year. Only things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving is the Texas aggies put my Longhorns out of my misery for this college football season and the year is one day closer to being over. Hope everyone had a better on than me.

Darth Avlectus Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Happy belated Thanksgiving. Still enjoying leftovers. The turkey of course, Eggplant lasagna, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and mama's hand made cheesecake. And my native american side holds no grudges.
stingerhs Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 happy belated Thanksgiving to everybody. given that this is the first year that i went to my future in-laws house for the big meal, i sadly lack any leftovers.
Jae Onasi Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 happy belated Thanksgiving to everybody. given that this is the first year that i went to my future in-laws house for the big meal, i sadly lack any leftovers. *Jae pounces on that last statement* Details, man, details!!!!! I haven't heard this news yet!!!!! Woot for you and your fiancee!
Q Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I'm a confirmed carnivore. Me, too. I'm now enjoying my favorite Thanksgiving leftover: turkey pot pie. Turkey, veggies and tons of gravy stuffed inside a scratch-made multi-grain butter crust. Every year I look forward to it more than Thanksgiving dinner itself!
Jae Onasi Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 Ooh, that sounds awesome. We do the same with ours--turkey, a package of mixed frozen veggies, about a half package of frozen Southern style hash browns, poultry seasoning, tarragon, chopped onion, a bit of salt and pepper, and lots of gravy. Pour into a pie crust (not the yucky frozen ones, do homemade or the refrigerated Pillsbury pie crust), and bake about an hour. Heaven in a pieplate!
