+Nimbus+ Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 I'm only 14, sorry if any of you get mad or anything I don't try to, are you all like 30 or somethin? And deathbolt I know what ya mean on the whole game thing, but this could be totally different although guns should be similar sabers should be far different than anything any of us are use to. Well see you all later, I just felt like posting since I'm at school.
SlowbieOne Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 I'm not old, unless 23 is old in your book. I'm still in college at DeVry. Although... since JK2 was announced I have felt like a teenager again.
Darth_Lando Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 I have only made 28 trips around the sun in my lifetime.
Hannibal Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 Yes, we are all old. I have made 27 trips around the sun also. To a 14 yr old 23 is ancient, right?
digl Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 17 here I guess Im not that old am I Nimbus ? edit: I just noticed this is in the Valley, and it should be at the swamp

Lord_FinnSon Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 Geez... I'm already 23 and feel myself too old when standing in the group of those teenagers who are talking about same subject: Star Wars. A little revelation: I don't remember when I first saw these movies, but in those early years they didn't somehow get me as excited as they do now. It took me some time and effort to understand whole "idea" behind them, to do some background work with Joseph Campbell's book, watching movies again and again; John Williams has been me favorite from very early on, but at first because of Indiana Jones movies, my another all time favorite. It all really began when Special Editions came to theaters and now after these recent years, after TPM and while waiting for AOTC, I have been wondering, if I had enough courage(or money) to buy lightsaber hilt from somewhere or start to wear Jedi clothes while at home...
txa1265 Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 I'm a finely aged Jedi master at 35 ... ... but I can still break out a can of whoop-ass when needed (just ask the Nazi's in RtCW - oh, wait - they're all dead!) Mike
Boba Rhett Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 I'm not even 18.... This belongs in the swamp. yoink. There we go.

OnlyOneCanoli Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 I'm 17. I know we have some older members. Wilhuf has a link or something that claims that PC gamers are more likely to be in their twenties or thirties rather than in their teens. Or something like that.
Zuckuss13 Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 Hi, I'm only 14, and not a ''geek'' really, no offence, i just read here, and hardly ever post, See Ya Scott
bsbuckeye21 Posted January 11, 2002 Posted January 11, 2002 I'm probably about middle of the road at this forum at 17. And I hear ya, Zuckuss13, minus the "hardly ever post" part.
Wacky_Baccy Posted January 12, 2002 Posted January 12, 2002 Originally posted by Agen_Terminator if u look like a baby then i'm not even born yet. i'm only 15. Ditto that! I had no idea that so many of you were so old Over 20 = Getting on a bit, Over 30 = Aren't you in a care home yet? , Over 40 = Museum piece. [comforting words] but that's only from my perspective, I suppose... [/comforting words] W_B
Millions o' Monkeys Posted January 12, 2002 Posted January 12, 2002 lol waccy_baccy *warning philosophical words ahead* its interesting how people of all different ages can bind into one forum and itnerest and share eqaul toughts and not be ridiculed for lack of knowledge or stupidity sorry about that...just had to be said
Rogue15 Posted January 12, 2002 Posted January 12, 2002 I'm turning 18 on the 21st, been around here since i was *name hint* 15. I've watched 3/4 of the members at rs.net simply...disappear, i wonder what became of them...
StormHammer Posted January 12, 2002 Posted January 12, 2002 Originally posted by Millions o' Monkeys its interesting how people of all different ages can bind into one forum and itnerest and share eqaul toughts and not be ridiculed for lack of knowledge or stupidity sorry about that...just had to be said Hey, don't be sorry, you're right. That's why these are one of the best forums on the net, IMHO. 34 summers here (but I'll catch up to txa1265 in June ). I know of a few gamers (not on these forums) who are over 50...so for all you young uns, just think of all the great years of gaming ahead of you.
The Seeker Posted January 12, 2002 Posted January 12, 2002 Holy Crap!!! Day after tomorrow, (the 13th) I'll be 18! Oh god! I'm not ready for this! I don't want to grow up! I know, I-I'll go to never land. That's what I'll do. Ha Ha. Weeeeeeeeee. *passes out* Seriously, on the 13th, I'm 18, so have your gifts ready at my door that morning. It may be tough to find one, because, what would you get for the best player of SP Jedi Knight. I mean, really, that's like gift buying for a king. An 18 year old king at that, so good luck.
Vagabond Posted January 12, 2002 Posted January 12, 2002 Assuming you live in the US, you've turned in your Selective Service Card, right?
KordKelly Posted January 12, 2002 Posted January 12, 2002 I think I've got ya all beat... The Earth has orbited the Sun 40 times in my lifetime...
