AgentSmith
Hi everyone, A petition has been subjected on petitionpetition.com by several Aayla Secura fans addressed to Lucasfilm, requesting that Aayla Secura appear in Episode III. Aayla Secura is a blue Twi'lek Jedi Knight, seen in "Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones" where she was portrayed by Amy Allen. This character also features in several excellent Star Wars comics. You can find lots of great info and images of Aayla on the Aayla Secura fansite. So we're looking to have as many people as possible to sign the petition, so especially if you're a Star Wars fan, go ahead and sign that petition. You can sign the petition here: http://www.petitionpetition.com/cgi/petition.cgi?id=4964&action=read This is the text of the petition: " Dear Lucasfilm, We, the undersigned, as appreciative fans of Star Wars and even more so of its character the blue Twilek Jedi Aayla Secura, kindly request that Aayla Secura appear again in Episode III, the next Star Wars movie. If possible, we would like her to be visible in more scenes than in Episode II and have speaking lines. As fans we would not like to see this great characters death on screen. In addition to Aayla Secura reappearing we politely ask that Ms. Amy Allen, who portrayed Aayla Secura in Episode II, reprised the role - instead of another actress or a computer generated version-. Over the past months the already popular character of Aayla Secura has gained an ever increasing number of dedicated and avid fans, the character's popularity is still rising. There are many websites, webpages and forum threads dedicated to Aayla Secura. An official Hasbro Star Wars Action Figure of this character is even being produced. Those involved with the creation of Aayla Secura have expressed interest in seeing Aayla Secura return in Episode III. In conclusion, we appreciative fans of Aayla Secura, feel that this character has become increasingly popular and as such request that she reappears in Episode III. Yours sincerely, " So please go to the site and sign the petition if you want to see more of this great character that is Aayla Secura! Thank you! leXX
So will all the Jedi apart from Yoda, Anakin and Obi, doesn't mean we don't want to see them does it. Come on people, get signing!!
Hyperglide
Who cares?? [sarcasm][whine]I want to see Kit Fisto and Plo Koon[/whine][/sarcasm] (seriously though they are cool to look at). But like everyone said they are all gonna get wasted anyways, even the great Mace Windu.... George Lucas even said this is gonna be the darkest Star Wars yet because of the catastropic slaughter of the Jedi Order, so what's the point in giving some useless extra some more lines (did I say more? I meant ANY lines, I mean this character isn't even a bit player)? I would rather see the 3 minutes she would take up by seeing a great battle scene IMHO. AgentSmith
Originally posted by leXX So will all the Jedi apart from Yoda, Anakin and Obi, doesn't mean we don't want to see them does it. Well, it's not sure all the Jedi except Yoda and Obi-Wan will die. (Anakin dies when he became Darth Vader ... so I guess Anakin comes back to life in RoTJ, oh well. ) Obi-Wan was famous in the OT for stating things from a certain point of view, plus he and Yoda might not be aware of any other Jedi survivors. So who knows?

Surfnshannon
I just meant that it was scarey because these guys are like WE WILL GET OUR SHOW NO MATTER WHAT!!! HAHAHAHA It seems a little psycho to me!! Take no offence. Yes to each his own - but has it been proven that these petitions actually work? I think HE should be the one who kills count Dooku...even if him doing it seems completely odd and useless.....it would make me a very happy guy...and THEN i could tell everyone just how much of a bad ass plo koon is... I signed the petition, i think Aayla secura is hot enough to warrant more screen time......
Hyperglide
They should make a Jedi Jawa, that would be sweet I would love to see a Jawa be a Jedi. Or better yet a Sith lol. Then I could see this kick ass Sith Jawa kick Plo Koons ass... Seriously though I don't ever remember seeing Plo Koon was he and extra on the Jedi Council? I remember Aayla Secura she is very easy on the eyes (a nice peace of alien ACE!!!!!), and u can't have enough eye candy, plus she kicked a little butt. Still Kit Fisto would get my vote as the best Jedi Extra i've seen he had the most screen time, so I say give him some more action sequences. Kit chargin' into battle with some Clone troopers.. Kit chillin' with Mace.. Bring it!!!
Lime-Light
How about a pettition to make sure EpIII doesnt blow. I honestly dont know why SW fans center around the most minute and unimportant characters, but I guess with the recent movies so lacking in respectable content, you have to find something. Darklighter
Lacking in respectable content? I have to admit that the new Star Wars films will never live up to the quality of the originals, and the latest movies are sometimes a little cliche, the majority of Star Wars fans out there I'm sure did find TPM and AOTC enjoyable, in one way or another. It is very difficult to make a good movie nowadays you know, and I would consider the new films near enough good. Episode III will be worth seeing for me, because I want to see how the story ends, and I know I will enjoy it, even at this early stage. And yes, I will sign the petition:)

Lime-Light
I know its hard to make a good movie these days, but is that an excuse for someone who fathered the originals? I really expcted the new SW films to be the equivalent of the old ones, only better becuase Lucas had more money, talent base and of course effects at his disposal. Instead we get dialog my dog could write better. Where did the characterization go? Its pure eye candy now, like a ****ty bargain-bin crap-ware game with a liscence that sells. It angers me that such an enormus chance was missed with the prequals. Of course I will see episode 3 several times, becuase frankly I'm a goddamn welp who cant resist SW in any mangled form, and I havent the guts to boycott it becuase I still hold out hope Lucas was just kidding about the first 2, and he actually has a worthy movie planned. That's very true. But still no reason not to try. I prefer being passionate, involved and active about such things. It's no use whining about how one didn't like this or that, that just isn't constructive. Do something active, something creative. Even if this petition doesn't achieve anything, then at least the fans of the Aayla Secura character did something positive. (We didn't sit there whining about this detail and that insignificance not being good or exactly what we wanted. Sure we express our opinions if we don't like a particular element, but one can do so constructively.) Indeed to each his own. And I'm not psycho ... really not ... *evil feral grin*
