Clone Wars on Cartoon Network

I agree, I'd LOVE tp see an animé version of some of, if not all of the Star Wars stories. Imagine the lightsaber duels !!! :D FOOM! KA-TSCHHHH! ZINNNNG! SHUPEEEEN! Wow. Sorry folks, that looked great in my head.... :p

But seriously, come on, be fair, the cartoon's animation will be great - bear in mind that the people that made "the Powerpuf Girls" (which is a frickin brilliant cartoon!) also made "Samurai Jack" which kicked arse as well. So I don't think the animation's going to be a problem. I foresee the biggest problem being the story, since Mr Lucas will probably have a hand in it somehow.... If he doesn't, then it's got a chance....

Yeah, I know, I've got a few of them already. :D Episode I was also done in one book btw, not sure how good it was, but if it's anything as good as the OT ones, it's probably great.

It's an anime version that I really want to see! I mean, as great as manga are, you don't really get the full picture until you see the anime. So if any of you folks from IG PLUS (the guys behind "Blood: The Last Vampire" ) are reading this, get on with it! Please? :D

Umm, "Domo arigato, Misuta Robotoo-chan. Baka neko! Otobai. Watashi.... "

<Rough translation "Thanks very much Mr Robot. Stupid cat! Motorbike. I....">

Ok, so that's about all the Japanese I know, and it's probably spelt completely wrong and grammatically incorrect. Aaaaaand it doesn't actually mean anything. I can count to (I think) 99, though. :D

Tartakovsky didnt create The Powerpuff Girls. Craig McCracken did (Though Tartakovsky was involved with many of the original "What A Cartoon!"s since he was the first to get his foot in the door and never forgot those who helped get the Dexter episodes going).

I'm glad Lucas decided to stay away from anime, there's plenty of good home grown cartoon studios (their main base, not counting the overseas animation that 99% of all cartoons produce rely on). Making it an anime would have just been playing into the hands of anime fans.

Tartakovsky's work on Samurai Jack has been nothing but amazing.

I totally agree. Dexter and Jack are 2 of my favourite cartoons. Jack is an utterley brilliant cartoon. The visuals, the music, the action, the storyline all combine to make Jack one of the best cartoons ever on tv. I'm extremely glad GL chose Genndy Tartakovsky, I couldn't think of a better person for the job. GL is huge Jack fan too, good taste or what? :D

I think Tartakovsky will do an excellent job and I really look forward to watching them. My only complaint is the length, I mean 2-3 minutes each? WTF?
