Changing Life

Recommended Posts

Well, I would go back in time....and.....and......make it so my parents were rich and divorced before I was born. Instead of not rich and divorced when I was 15. :D

And I would capture Mr. Weasel's parents, and sell them on the black market. Then, when Mr. Weasel was born, I tell him that his parents were----.

*AHHHHHHH GET THEM OFF ME!! AHHHHH!!!!!!---- *gunshot*

"I thought you were dead!

*AHhhhhhh---!*

*sounds of weasels eating*

:D

If I could change one thing that ever happened, i'd grab a loophole in the 'one thing' and use that to change multiple things. I'd change my never occuring ability to travel backwards in time so that I could travel backwards in time to mid 1999, and brief myself on all the stupid, stupid things I would do in the immediate future and what would happen over the course of the next four years because of all that stupid stuff.

I'd be happy, not single, undepressed, weigh 20 pounds more, have a decent job, go to a much better school, and probably have better posture.

failing that, i'd make myself a girl. i'm a sissy, so being a girl would be much better i think. i'd be such a lesbian.

Well, I would NEVER kill hitler or anyone. Because If you screw things up, you might not be born if there was no WW2, you never know. I wouldn't wanna tamper with anything that drastic. Maybe inventing the internet, but everyone claims to have to have done that:D I would try stop somthing like 9/11, tho, because I was already alive when it happened. Well, I dunno, it might not be a good idea tho:( I think it sounds like a good idea but wouldn't necessarily be one. Hmmmm....... any thoughts on screwing up time? (not that you could, but lets just say you can)

*shrugs*

Maybe I am thinking about it too much, I dunno.

If you killed Hitler in order to prevent WWII, the world wouldn't even resemble the world as it stands now. Technology was starting to stagnant by the end of middle of the 1930s. We'd probably be around 1970s tech right now if the war had never happened. And we'd have few computers (and those would be more like 50s tech), probably no space program, and no superhighways (either Autobahn or US Interstate). Medical tech would be severely behind. We wouldn't have cordless phones. No microchips. No large scale passenger air service. Hell, we might not even have the jet engine.

D-Day is ranked as the third most important event in world history. A thousand years of history led up to the first boot hitting the beach and the next thousand years will be directly affected by that single stride. If you want to know, the #2 important event was Caesar crossing the Rubicon and the #1 was the birth of Christ. Even if you're some kind of Zen Buddhist and think Christianity is a quaint joke, you'd can't deny the sheer influence on the last 2000 years THAT was.

I find the subject of "what might have been" fascinating. However, if you were to change time, how would you go about doing so? Anything you do could have completely unforseen consequences. I forget what it is exactly...but I recall it is said that a single butterfly flapping its wings in China could cause a tornado in the United States.

I believe everything happens for a reason. So I wouldn't change anything, anyway.
