IM sick of people usiing the word"like"

When I read the title I thought you meant when people say like for no reason, eg.

When I read the title I ,'like', thought you meant ,'like', say like for no ,'like', reason.

See annoying isnt it. People are afraid of saying anything more than like I guess. If you say I really find that person attractive then you sound weird, where as if you say I like, then its easier.

The fact of the matter is, Us teens are too damn lazy to speak properlly. Most are too stupid, no offence to stupid teens.

What would you rather hear?

"I think I am in love with her even though I am to young to know what true love is. "

Yeah, we are all to young to have the ability to love. Its all 'I like her' but you dont stop feeling that way for almost a year, and you realise there is no hope but you still go on thinking about that person every hour of every day. Anyway im off. :(

yeah, but thats american grammer for ya. especially teens when they say like in a sentance for no reason, its kinda hard not to after hearing it all day from your peers. i hear it all day in school, especially it seems that the girls say more that the guys for some reason too.

as for using the word like to tell that you are interested in someone or something, i have no problem with that.

Wonder Years!

"Did Winnie say she likes me, or does she like me like me?" - Kevin Arnold

I remember Paul Phieffer was it, and Kevin have a discussion like this. I use the word "like" by the way. I know what love is and it ain't it, and the fact I am not going out with her... yet

Even then, I'd still use like. Love isn't right, and enjoying one's company takes to long to say....

my girlfriend is always using "like" like omg! :p

And if I ever heard a guy talk using "like" in a way other than the "I like you" you way of saying like, I have to make fun of that guy because if you ask me, I think saying "like" all the time is a part of what I like to call "Girl Speak."

Well you must hate yourself, since you used the word "Like" to demonstrate your dislike for those who use it.

*Looks around at poor Marth's thread*

At least you don't tell someone you love them and freak them out.

I live in CA and I can attest to the dumb blond, "Like totally. She like soooooo should've gotten prada as opposed to like crappy Calvin." Other blond, "Like totally!"

Ohh the insanity.

I got somthing more creative, Infwago, well I have no idea how to spell it. But it means atractive in spanish. or hot or somthing along the lines.

So instead of saying "I like you" you say "I think your way infwago" and then thier like "What does infwago mean?" And then your like "It's spanish for buitiful" and then thier like "Wow that's so sexy..." :naughty:

theres also that kind of like.

or you could say that you like them in french, chicks dig french.
