Astynd
I was wondering if any one had segestions of other games to get to pass the time while waiting for SWG. I am just getting to bored not playing anything!! It just is taking too long:confused:
Boba Rhett
How about Neverwinter Nights or Morrowind? Do you have them already? They're both down to 30 now and they'll both give you many hours of entertainment.
Taos
Splinter Cell will also take up lots of your time. It took me forEVER to beat that game. Probably one of the most difficult games I've ever played. There's something to be said for 'too much' realism.
Sunshine Badass
I beat Splinter Cell too... Wasn't too crazy about the way he jumped. *cough* PANSY! *cough* and he was to static while in the middle of a jump. I did the infamous split jump. Too bad it was on the second to last level. Never could find anywhere to do it. I was kinda disappointed at the ending of it too. REALLY abrupt, but kept you on your toes. SPC is an AWESOME game, has its downsides, but hey, what game doesn't? ...SWG anyone? This thread smells like an OT sandwich.
Astynd
I played splinters cell for xbox and it seemed just so hard ( get shoot twice and your dead) just could dent get the grasp but i will try it for pc then.
Fraydenz
I'm playing Age of Mythology right now. Very good game, if you like the RTS genre. Oh, how I would love to play Morrowind, tho. The only thing keeping me from getting it is that I am afraid it would take me months to complete - and I am hoping SWG will be out before that! Jackrabbit
I'm playing Star Wars: Bounty Hunter right now. It's fun if you like killing wave after wave of respawning faceless enemies . But seriously, it's fun. It has a good story line, the cut scene graphics are nice, and it's got nice voice acting. It shows Jango's life before Episode II, and let me tell you, it was pretty intense. It even shows how he gets Slave I. If you like Jango, jetpacks, and you have either a Gamecube or PS2, I suggest you get this game.
UnfrozenCaveman
NWN wasn't even hard. Luckily I never paid to get it, I just got a "new" copy for free Although, I did play Morrowind and I bought my copy of it, I love that game. It's so much better than NWN and it's so long and you can do anything imaginable in that game. I recommend Morrowind over NWN any day of the week and twice on sundays. Right now I am playing SPC. That game is amazing, I love it, I love sneaking around caping people or grabbing them from behind and dragging them off into some dark corner and knocking them out (sounds kinda bad..lol). I just got my new uber cpu built and my graphic detail is on HIGH and the game is just sick!

Dark0nE
Warcraft 3 is a great game to get to pass the time. Although Single Player is not that great Battle.net will definitely keep you entertained for a long time.
Deft Aklin
I swear there was another topic on this. Anyway, America's Army Operations. Nothing better than utilizing 30million of the US governments money on a game for all ages. Anyway, the game rocks, graphics a impressive and did I mention, it's free? http://goarmy.com/index12.htm#
setsuko
Well, NWN can be played through in days. Morrowind, weeks! Myself, being a strategy buff, I still keep playing CivIII, Medieval: Total War (and the occational Shogun session), Masters of Orion III and Galactic Civilizations. And when all elses fail, I play through Fallout 1 and 2 for the millionth game. Best RPG series ever? By far!
Sounds Risky
You can't go wrong with Grand Theft Auto III.
Sunshine Badass
Unless, like most of us, you are prone to desensitizing, gratuitous violence, said violence being "optional,";) and can't resist beating bystanders to the sidewalk with a... Altus_Thrawn
My favorite is Battlefield 1942. It is the best game I've ever played. AoM is also fun.

Usually on BoomTown Server #6. No friendy fire there. And ... that's about it.
legameboy
i love playing BF1942 and SC, BF1942 is an awsome fps/vehicle game, Splinter Cell has great graphics, a wonderful storyline, and will take you like 2 or 3 months to complete (quicksave all da way)

It is sort of a clone, but less combat tactics and more diplomacy, almost like Civ. No, neither of these games are as good as Civ. But that is because it is downright impossible! You can find a bit more intricate review on popupspy...I mean, gamespy, here. You can get it on the net for $39.90, I have no idea what your local store takes for it.
