•-BLaCKouT-•
'Kay folks... a relatively easy one for ya. What are your Top 3 movies of all time? You know the score, either: a: You're going to be on a desert island for the rest of your life and you can only take 3 movies to watch (yeah, there's a video/dvd and a TV apparently) or: b: you're going to die tomorrow (who knows how?) and you can watch 3 movies tonight. What would they be? Only rules are: A series can't count as one choice (eg: the Back to the Future trilogy), it's got to be one movie, one choice. Also, TV series don't count - unless it's a movie adaptation that was shown in the cinemas. And last, there doesn't have to be any kind of order to them, Eg. 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Have fun... Mine would be: Star Wars IV: A New Hope Mallrats From Dusk Till Dawn. B.

Lost Welshman
Monty Python's Quest for the holy Grail Monty Python's Life of Brian Monty Python's Meaning of life (Those are the only monthy python film's I've seen) ( I Love them all! ) If you ever watch the meaning of life don't be worried about the start. The film eventually shows some sort of meaning. It starts off in an old office building with old men typing on old type writers, and one gets the sack. All the other old men revolt and then pull up an anchor and set sail (In the building). Then they attack the american sky scrapers, Pirate Stylee. Then the it starts to make a little sense. Only a Little.

Hyperglide
Very hard to choose SSOOOOOOOO many good movies but if I was stuck on a desert island and HAD to choose 3 movies, then my selections would be as follows, in no particular order: 1. Casino - Starring Joe Pesci, Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, and James Woods. Directed by Martin Scorsese. This movie is based on a true story of how the mob controlled the teamsters in Las Vegas which allowed them to dominated the Casino market in the late 70's. It also describes how the Mob lost it's stranglehold on the old school Vegas empire. With a little of that hollywood/Scorsese flair. 2. The Shawshank Redemption - Starring Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman. Directed by Frank Darabont. Freeman got nominated for Best supporting actor in this movie. Very well done movie about a innocent man found guilty in a grisly murder of his wife and her secret lover. It's about the conformation, dehumanizing, and institutionalizing of prison life in the 20th century. Awesome movie. 3. Office Space - Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston, Stephen Root. Directed by Mike Judge. One of my all time fave comedy's mocking and parodying the constant tedium and drudgery of office cubicle life. Mike Judge the creator of Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill wrote and directed this hilarious movie. He even makes a great cameo as Jennifer Aniston's snide boss. Good times. Notable runner ups: Dumb and Dumber probably my favourite comedy of all time I just like Office Space's humour more, but D&D's slapstick humour style is awesome, (I hear the sequel sucks probably because, the script wasn't as witty - no Farrelly Brothers, and the lack of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. Although I hear the young dude's who play them in the new movie are good.), Star Wars the last three episodes, The Lord of the Rings saga, Tigerland, Full Metal Jacket, Fast and the Furious (man hot cars racing? Can't top that), Goldeneye 007 (probably my favourite James Bond movie, I'm a huge Sean Bean fan), Ronin (one of the best car race movies ever, on and Sean Bean and Rob De Niro are in it ), Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Jackass the movie (ok it was dumb and the show is better, but eh I still laughed my ass off 3 times in a row), The Matrix movies. Ya that's most of them I could ramble on all day. Enjoy.
toms
1) Withnail & I 2) Starwars 4-6 (should count as one choice IMHO) er.... ooo... ummm... 3) Goodfellas! no! bladerunner! no! Terminator! no! LOTR:FOTR! no! ok, i'll go with 3) The Killer (or maybe This is spinal tap). I hate these questions.....
HertogJan
- The Matrix - The Boondock Saints (way to go PrimoSidone, I live this one ) I just couldn't pick a third one... Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, The Godfather, all Star Wars movies, all Lord of the Rings movies, Terminator, Fight Club, Se7en, Liar Liar, Scary Movie, Predator, Alien, Saving Private Ryan, Ronin, Face/Off, the Rock, Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, It, American History X, Leon... *sigh* So many good movies!! I'm a real movie fan, most of the (good) movies that come on TV here I've already seen

BCanr2d2
I won't give mine any order, but most of mine are the order that I got them on DVD..... Terminator 2 - nothing like a good old Ah-nuld movie when he actually made good ones... Top Gun - Loved it, like many young kids were always wanting to be a jet pilot. Sadly the DVD conversion is woeful, lacks the LFE channel stuff to do the jets justice. I hope they redo it one day with an improved soundtrack Speed - Another mindless action flick.. Don't get me wrong, I love a movie where you have to think, but the ones that I can put on at anytime and just watch bits and pieces are the ones I love. There are plenty of great movies in my collection, nothing close to the 300+ one, but my CD collection is about 250!!! I do have thinking ones in there too, but they also require the time to sit down and watch them in one sitting and not be interupted.

KBell
1- Star Wars- Return of the Jedi_____ good one 2-Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back_____ better one 3-Road to Perdition_____ Greatest one The Shawshank Redemption was a touching and great one too and Boiler Room I liked because it was gritty and had some great actors like Vin Diesle, 2 teachers from the Fox hit Boston Public, and a short but funny appearence with Ben Afflick
