BASS Cd Song to burn

Hey guys, what are some good songs to burn onto a cd that will help compliment my newly installed 600W RMS Subs powered by a 775W amplifier. I am going ot a tricked out gathering this weekend and want some bass to highlight the evening.

lots of NIN is real bassy, if you are going more for an upbeat sound try the 8 mile soundtrack or something, I am not very familiar with rap and hip hop...but I can tell you what rock sounds good on real bassy systems.

ive already said NIN (try songs from The Fragile)

Tool

King Crimson

A Perfect Circle

Bob Marley

Linkin Park

Staind (I love staind on a bassy system)

the soundtracks for both Matrix movies.

Actually most old CDs are pretty amazing on a system. I have a system myself, and I will tell you which CDs give the most kick.

Beastie Boys: License To Ill

Linkin Park: Reanimation

Nine Inch Nails: Pretty Hate Machine

Eminem: The Eminem Show

Cypress Hill: Cypress Hill

Infected Mushroom has some good bass beats, most of their songs I dont like because they all have the same bass beat with other kinds of sounds to make it unique. But if you like psy techno or whatever its called they arent bad.

Also a more toned down chill kinda music is called Pete Rock or Mushroom Jazz by Mark Farina.

firstly, a burned song wont sound as well on ryou system since most people rip songs at 128 Kb/s which is below CD quality. Anyway, there are cheap bass CD's you can pick up at stores usually, ones with sine sweeps and other things to test you system.

Thats why I always go with 256+ kbps sound quality ;) but most time I aim for 320 if possible.. Definitely Linkin Park (was listening to Meteora in the car on the way home).

And for hardware specs, I have the MTX 6500D 775W Amplifier and the Loaded Dual Band Pass 12" Subs rated @ 600W RMS with a peak of 1200W. (and they have nice little strobes and a red neon).

Trance music is good... DJ Doboy huh? NIN definitely.. Thanks for the recommendations by the way.

Visonik, here's a link my subs (like the v210BP, but the 12" version, hence the name V212BP:)

I hope your bro realizes that he could underpower the subs with that amp, which will be a problem, depending upon the RMS. Underpower besides overfeeding is a big cause of blown speakers.

Hry Andy, I mess read the box. He has a SONY Explode xm-1600gsd Class d, with 2 pioneer TS-W3O4 DVC 600 watt subs. With an orcan case with blue neon lights :) . Does that still mean the speakers will blow?

He, he should be alright, just as long as he wires it all correctly.. Hopefully he has the amp wire already purchased... is it a 4ohm Impedance or 2 Ohm impedance subs?

I think they are 4ohm, but i will make sure;) .

Dang, Eggplant you know the good songs with bass:p .

Isn't the standard 4 ohms?

What brand did you buy?

I have just bought some alphine 6x9's and a component set. I also got a panasonic head unit. However, I am getting the amp for christmas. Have to buy wedding stuff now. I was looking at getting a JL audio or a clarion. It will push the 6x9's sweetly w/o getting too much distortion. I'm looking for clarity over BOOM BOOM.

Best bass songs are Eminem or Space Cowboy by Steve Miller Band.

i think my mind is like clockwork orange cause boopy happy mellow stuff makes me violent, yet anything visceral that sings to your reptilian portion of the brain is like Zen meditation to me.

take for example shudders... Minsitry "every day is halloween"

eeesssh!

but listening to Skinny Puppy, groovy, so groovy.

me likes modern music as much as old school

it's all good.:jawaUTINNI!:jawa

Well, 4 is the standard, but 2 is for the higher end since there is less resistance, you get more power. Hence the reason why for specs some say

500x 2 @ 2 Ohm as opposed to 250x2 @ 4 Ohm...
