toms
Wolf 3d was awesome. Once I upgraded my PC to be able to play it that is... I loved prince of persia... It was a terrible game, but i had great fun playing Golden Axe with my sister's french exchange student. Xenon 2 was great as well, especially the music. Lemming rocked. Shareware game called Scorched Earth was fun in multiplayer too. Tie Fighter rocked... but that is getting into SVGA graphics and all that fancy stuff. BigTeddyPaul
When I lived in Wales I used to walk about a mile and a half to the nearest arcade place every Saturday to spend all my money on Golden Axe. I never ever tired of that game. And what is wrong with all of you? Commander Keen sucked sooooo much. BigTeddyPaul

Guest Jed
Yup, a WW1 flight sim. graphics now sorta resemble a drawing from MS paint, but animated. Yep, that's the one DOOM, Quake and Duke Nukem 3D. I'd just like to say that Quake rocked. Had much fun as a youngin' playing that. Even though I probably shouldn't have

txa1265
Not old (see my above statements) ... But I've been taking some opportunity to grab some recent games I didn't play or just did the demo and never bought. I just finished playing through Red Faction on the Mac. Pretty fun, but short. Now I'm playing Max Payne on the Mac. Both of these are games I played the demo but never the full game. I got them both for cheap on eBay. I also picked up Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior (Mac versions) on eBay. Duke I've played countless times over the years, but not Shadow Warrior. Fun, fun, fun Mike
BongoBob
The first PC game I played was SimCity2000. I didn't like it that much. The best old game for my comp now though, is Dark Forces II:D I know that's not really old, but if I can run a game at almost full graphical qualaties on MY comp without anylag, then it's old. Actually, the first pc game I played and liked, was Moto Racer:cool: Hehe, the first game I played EVER was Mario 1 on the Regular Nintendo
StormHammer
Ah, yes...the old nostalgia trip. Anyone remember Sopwith? Lemmings...I remember it well. There was a golf game I used to play as well...can't remember the name, but it allowed you to make your own courses to play on. Very simple, but addictive fun. Prince of Persia...yep, played that too, but I don't remember ever finishing it. Willy The Worm was a good platformer back in the day. The games that seemed to take up a lot of my time, though, were the Eye Of The Beholder series of RPG games. Very good games they were...and I still play those on occasion. Lands of Lore was also good...but sadly I can't get it to run any more. Escape From Monkey Island...hehe As far as 3D goes...the early ones are still memorable... Wolfenstein 3D of course, which set the stage for games to come. Ultima Underworld I and II deserve a mention here as well, as does System Shock. Betrayal At Krondor was another good RPG. I dunno...I've played so many games they're all starting to blur around the edges...
Sivy
yeah prince of persia was hard.. i think i only finished it once after killing the evil guy, you save the princess and then put on a silly crown thing and took your rightful place as the king i never knew it was so popular. no wonder they're remaking it.
